Meksičke vlasti tvrde da je bivši ravnatelj zoološkog vrta u južnom Meksiku ubio četiri patuljaste koze zoološkog vrta i poslužio ih na zabavi u božićnoj sezoni, piše CBS news.

"Četiri životinje zaklane su i kuhane u prostorijama zoološkog vrta, a poslužene su kao hrana na zabavi na kraju godine", rekao je Fernando Ruiz Gutierrez, ravnatelj državnog odjela za okoliš za divlje životinje, okrivljujući tadašnjeg ravnatelja zoološkog vrta Joséa Rubéna Navu. "To je ugrozilo zdravlje ljudi koji su ih jeli, jer te životinje nisu bile prikladne za prehranu ljudi"

Rubén Nava smijenjen je s mjesta ravnatelja lokalnog zoološkog vrta u gradu Chilpancingu 12. siječnja nakon smrti jelena u toj zemlji. Međutim, dužnosnici su u utorak priopćili kako je istraga pokazala kako su neke životinje u zoološkom vrtu navodno prodane, trgovane ili pojedene po Navinoj naredbi, piše Guardian.

Državno ministarstvo životnog okoliša priopćilo je kako se su se neke životinje prodavale privatnim osobama, bez odgovarajućeg računa.

Nava je također navodno mijenjao zebru za neke alate potrebne za popravak stvari oko zoološkog vrta, ali inspekcija nije pronašla takve alate u objektu.

Nije bilo jasno je li Nava službeno optužen u ovom slučaju ili je imao odvjetnika.

Meksiko već dugo ima problem s građanima koji ilegalno nabavljaju egzotične životinje. Godinama su trgovci drogom u Meksiku znali graditi privatne zvjerinjake lavova, tigrova i drugih divljih životinja. Ponekad takve životinje pobjegnu i siju paniku, piše ABC news.

U središnjem gradu Aguascalientesu, državna policija priopćila je da su upravo imali novi problem s divljom životinjom: lav je napao i teško ozlijedio ženu na terasi njezina doma. Lav je očito pobjegao iz obližnje kuće. Žena je hospitalizirana s ozljedama nogu, lubanje i pluća.

Lav je također napao dva psa i mačku. Uspavan je u utorak i poslan u lokalni zoološki vrt.

Meksičke vlasti tvrde da je bivši ravnatelj zoološkog vrta u južnom Meksiku ubio četiri patuljaste koze zoološkog vrta i poslužio ih na zabavi u božićnoj sezoni, piše CBS news.

"Četiri životinje zaklane su i kuhane u prostorijama zoološkog vrta, a poslužene su kao hrana na zabavi na kraju godine", rekao je Fernando Ruiz Gutierrez, ravnatelj državnog odjela za okoliš za divlje životinje, okrivljujući tadašnjeg ravnatelja zoološkog vrta Joséa Rubéna Navu. "To je ugrozilo zdravlje ljudi koji su ih jeli, jer te životinje nisu bile prikladne za prehranu ljudi"

Rubén Nava smijenjen je s mjesta ravnatelja lokalnog zoološkog vrta u gradu Chilpancingu 12. siječnja nakon smrti jelena u toj zemlji. Međutim, dužnosnici su u utorak priopćili kako je istraga pokazala kako su neke životinje u zoološkom vrtu navodno prodane, trgovane ili pojedene po Navinoj naredbi, piše Guardian.

Državno ministarstvo životnog okoliša priopćilo je kako se su se neke životinje prodavale privatnim osobama, bez odgovarajućeg računa.

Nava je također navodno mijenjao zebru za neke alate potrebne za popravak stvari oko zoološkog vrta, ali inspekcija nije pronašla takve alate u objektu.

Nije bilo jasno je li Nava službeno optužen u ovom slučaju ili je imao odvjetnika.

Meksiko već dugo ima problem s građanima koji ilegalno nabavljaju egzotične životinje. Godinama su trgovci drogom u Meksiku znali graditi privatne zvjerinjake lavova, tigrova i drugih divljih životinja. Ponekad takve životinje pobjegnu i siju paniku, piše ABC news.

U središnjem gradu Aguascalientesu, državna policija priopćila je da su upravo imali novi problem s divljom životinjom: lav je napao i teško ozlijedio ženu na terasi njezina doma. Lav je očito pobjegao iz obližnje kuće. Žena je hospitalizirana s ozljedama nogu, lubanje i pluća.

Lav je također napao dva psa i mačku. Uspavan je u utorak i poslan u lokalni zoološki vrt.

Meksičke vlasti tvrde da je bivši ravnatelj zoološkog vrta u južnom Meksiku ubio četiri patuljaste koze zoološkog vrta i poslužio ih na zabavi u božićnoj sezoni, piše CBS news.

"Četiri životinje zaklane su i kuhane u prostorijama zoološkog vrta, a poslužene su kao hrana na zabavi na kraju godine", rekao je Fernando Ruiz Gutierrez, ravnatelj državnog odjela za okoliš za divlje životinje, okrivljujući tadašnjeg ravnatelja zoološkog vrta Joséa Rubéna Navu. "To je ugrozilo zdravlje ljudi koji su ih jeli, jer te životinje nisu bile prikladne za prehranu ljudi"
