- Ako Grad nešto ne poduzme, krenut ćemo s odštetnim zahtjevima – kazao nam je splitski odvjetnik Ante Kukoč reagirajući na članak "Netko je, izgleda, jutros presudio paunu s Gripa …" ilustriran fotografijama uginulog pauna s potpisom našeg urednika fotografije Matka Biljka, koji živi u susjedstvu kvartovske pernate atrakcije.

Kolega Biljak snimio je prizor uginule životinje na cesti, koja je stradala pod kotačima nečijeg automobila. Još su bili vidljivi tragovi kočenja... Bio je šokiran, baš kao i njegovi susjedi i grupa djece iz obližnjeg vrtića. Svima njima, kazao je, nije jasno kome smetaju (ne)sretni paunovi.

- Pa čak i kad prelaze cestu, ljudi zastanu i dive im se - komentirao je Biljak.

No, da u njegovu susjedstvu postoje i drugačija mišljenja o višedesetljetnom suživotu s paunovima na Gripama, svjedoče i riječi odvjetnika Ante Kukoča, inače stanara zgrade u Ul. Račkoga 2. Tuži nam se kako s brojnim ostalim stanovnicima Gradskog kotara Gripe, koji žive oko tvrđave, svakodnevno trpi njihov teror o čemu smo izvještavali u više navrata.

- Pregažena ptica jest žalosna činjenica, ali problem paunova u širem centru Splita ima više razina – ističe Ante Kukoč dodajući kako tim velikim pernatim životinjama nije mjesto u gradu, pogotovo ne na prometnicama gdje često stradavaju i ugrožavaju sigurnost prometa.

- Svake godine izleže se mnoštvo pilića od kojih dio bude pregažen ili stradava na drugi način, ali dio preživi i povećava već ionako preveliki broj ovih životinja. Njihovo glasanje u ranu zoru i u sumrak s visokih grana na kojima noće jest teror i noćna mora svih stanovnika našeg gradskog kotara – podsjeća Kukoč.

Objašnjava i kako odrasli mužjaci, naročito u sezoni parenja (od veljače do lipnja), doživljavaju svoj odraz na šasiji parkiranih automobila.

- Misle da pred sobom imaju suparnika, pa ga napadaju kljunom i tako oštećuju lak i lim na vozilu – opisuje splitski odvjetnik podastirući fotografije oštećenja na svom automobilu kao i video snimku i fotografije jednog takvog ‘napada‘ na mercedes u vlasništvu susjeda, vaterpolo trenera Dragana Matutinovića. Zato smatra nužnim zbrinjavanje životinja na adekvatnijoj adresi...

- Navodna nemogućnost rješenja ovog problema zbog ‘neriješene tehnike hvatanja i predaje ptica shodno važećim zakonima i propisima‘ neuvjerljiva je izlika odgovornih u gradskoj upravi.

S obzirom da su ove ptice pitome poput golubova, svatko im se može približiti na manje od dva metra, a često se odmaraju u našem vrtu i na okolnim zelenim površinama ispod tvrđave Gripe u skupinama od po sedam, osam i više jedinki te ih se tada lako može uhvatiti ribarskom mrežom ili na sličan bezbolan način – mišljenja je odvjetnik Kukoč.

Drži kako Prirodoslovni muzej ima dovoljno kvalificiranih osoba za bavljenje tim poslom, a i u bivšem ZOO-u na Marjanu postoji kavez za velike ptice. Uostalom, napominje, u Hrvatskoj i šire zasigurno postoje mnogi koji bi bili zahvalni da im se paunovi s Gripa doniraju.

- Dakle, problem jest lako rješiv ako postoji volja da se on riješi. Možda će odštetni zahtjevi zbog navedene štete na automobilima, koje pripremamo, potaknuti odgovorne na rješavenje ovog problema kojega je Grad dužan riješiti, ali se na pozive našeg gradskog kotara za poduzimanje potrebnih mjera godinama oglušuje - kaže Ante Kukoč.

- Ako Grad nešto ne poduzme, krenut ćemo s odštetnim zahtjevima – kazao nam je splitski odvjetnik Ante Kukoč reagirajući na članak "Netko je, izgleda, jutros presudio paunu s Gripa …" ilustriran fotografijama uginulog pauna s potpisom našeg urednika fotografije Matka Biljka, koji živi u susjedstvu kvartovske pernate atrakcije.

Kolega Biljak snimio je prizor uginule životinje na cesti, koja je stradala pod kotačima nečijeg automobila. Još su bili vidljivi tragovi kočenja... Bio je šokiran, baš kao i njegovi susjedi i grupa djece iz obližnjeg vrtića. Svima njima, kazao je, nije jasno kome smetaju (ne)sretni paunovi.

- Pa čak i kad prelaze cestu, ljudi zastanu i dive im se - komentirao je Biljak.

No, da u njegovu susjedstvu postoje i drugačija mišljenja o višedesetljetnom suživotu s paunovima na Gripama, svjedoče i riječi odvjetnika Ante Kukoča, inače stanara zgrade u Ul. Račkoga 2. Tuži nam se kako s brojnim ostalim stanovnicima Gradskog kotara Gripe, koji žive oko tvrđave, svakodnevno trpi njihov teror o čemu smo izvještavali u više navrata.

- Pregažena ptica jest žalosna činjenica, ali problem paunova u širem centru Splita ima više razina – ističe Ante Kukoč dodajući kako tim velikim pernatim životinjama nije mjesto u gradu, pogotovo ne na prometnicama gdje često stradavaju i ugrožavaju sigurnost prometa.

- Svake godine izleže se mnoštvo pilića od kojih dio bude pregažen ili stradava na drugi način, ali dio preživi i povećava već ionako preveliki broj ovih životinja. Njihovo glasanje u ranu zoru i u sumrak s visokih grana na kojima noće jest teror i noćna mora svih stanovnika našeg gradskog kotara – podsjeća Kukoč.

Objašnjava i kako odrasli mužjaci, naročito u sezoni parenja (od veljače do lipnja), doživljavaju svoj odraz na šasiji parkiranih automobila.

- Misle da pred sobom imaju suparnika, pa ga napadaju kljunom i tako oštećuju lak i lim na vozilu – opisuje splitski odvjetnik podastirući fotografije oštećenja na svom automobilu kao i video snimku i fotografije jednog takvog ‘napada‘ na mercedes u vlasništvu susjeda, vaterpolo trenera Dragana Matutinovića. Zato smatra nužnim zbrinjavanje životinja na adekvatnijoj adresi...

- Navodna nemogućnost rješenja ovog problema zbog ‘neriješene tehnike hvatanja i predaje ptica shodno važećim zakonima i propisima‘ neuvjerljiva je izlika odgovornih u gradskoj upravi.

S obzirom da su ove ptice pitome poput golubova, svatko im se može približiti na manje od dva metra, a često se odmaraju u našem vrtu i na okolnim zelenim površinama ispod tvrđave Gripe u skupinama od po sedam, osam i više jedinki te ih se tada lako može uhvatiti ribarskom mrežom ili na sličan bezbolan način – mišljenja je odvjetnik Kukoč.

Drži kako Prirodoslovni muzej ima dovoljno kvalificiranih osoba za bavljenje tim poslom, a i u bivšem ZOO-u na Marjanu postoji kavez za velike ptice. Uostalom, napominje, u Hrvatskoj i šire zasigurno postoje mnogi koji bi bili zahvalni da im se paunovi s Gripa doniraju.

- Dakle, problem jest lako rješiv ako postoji volja da se on riješi. Možda će odštetni zahtjevi zbog navedene štete na automobilima, koje pripremamo, potaknuti odgovorne na rješavenje ovog problema kojega je Grad dužan riješiti, ali se na pozive našeg gradskog kotara za poduzimanje potrebnih mjera godinama oglušuje - kaže Ante Kukoč.
