Iva Bencun nova je direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Zadra, odlučilo je jednoglasno Turističko vijeće nakon provedenog izbora do kojega je došlo zbog ostavke dosadašnjeg direktora Marija Paleke iza "afere New York".
Mada još uvijek nije službeno dobila riješenje o jednoglasnoj odluci članova Turističkog vijeća koju je potvrdio i gradonačelnik Branko Dukić, Ivi Bencun već su počele stizati poruke s čestitkama na izboru.
- Jako mi je drago, pogotovo zato što se, kako čujem, radi o jednoglasnoj odluci. Stižu mi već nekoliko minuta čestitke sa svih strana. Drago mi je zbog podrške stručnih ljudi iz turizma, to mi je bio vjetar u leđa i prije nego što se uopće bilo što dogodilo jer sam imala veliku podršku kolega i to mi je već tada bilo veliko priznanje. Jednoglasni izbor također lijepo zvuči. Moj dojam sa razgovora u postupku izbora bio je da su oni prepoznali moju predanost turizmu u promociji i predstavljanju grada u jednom svjetlu kakav on kao turistički grad zaslužuje, tako da mislim da je bila presudna emocija, odnosno strast za posao koji ja ionako radim već godinama - izjavila je Bencun.
Pitali smo je koje prve poteze namjerava povući kao nova direktorica?
- Sad je prerano za davanje izjava o potezima koje mislim napraviti u vođenju Turističke zajednice. Ovo je meni ipak nešto novo. Ja sam do sada cijeli život radila kao poduzetnica i samostalno, sad ipak ulazim u sustav koji je već izgrađen i koji već ima svoj program. Pretpostavljam da se neke stvari koje su već ugovorene moraju ispoštovati, tako da je prerano da ja sad kažem nešto o tome. Molila bih vas za malo vremena da vidim zatečeno stanje, pa da onda iziđem s nekom informacijom što ćemo dalje.
Što će sad biti s privatnim biznisom, odnosno s Vašom turističkom agencijom za outdoor turizam?
- Naravno to je bilo i jedno od pitanja na intervjuu Vijeća, sasvim logično su me pitali što će sad biti s agencijom. Rekla sam da nemam samo jednu agenciju, već dvije, kako bi se reklo ‘kad si vridan radiš svašta‘, međutim čim sam se prijavila bila sam spremna na tu situaciju. Dakle moja turistička agencija Feral tours u kojoj sam stopostotni vlasnik će se ugasiti, a u agenciji u kojoj sam u partnerstvu s još dvije partnerice, prepustit ću vlasnički dio njima i nastavit će dalje bez mene - kazala je Iva Bencun u prvom "mini" razgovoru za medije.

Iva Bencun nova je direktorica Turističke zajednice grada Zadra, odlučilo je jednoglasno Turističko vijeće nakon provedenog izbora do kojega je došlo zbog ostavke dosadašnjeg direktora Marija Paleke iza "afere New York".
Mada još uvijek nije službeno dobila riješenje o jednoglasnoj odluci članova Turističkog vijeća koju je potvrdio i gradonačelnik Branko Dukić, Ivi Bencun već su počele stizati poruke s čestitkama na izboru.
- Jako mi je drago, pogotovo zato što se, kako čujem, radi o jednoglasnoj odluci. Stižu mi već nekoliko minuta čestitke sa svih strana. Drago mi je zbog podrške stručnih ljudi iz turizma, to mi je bio vjetar u leđa i prije nego što se uopće bilo što dogodilo jer sam imala veliku podršku kolega i to mi je već tada bilo veliko priznanje. Jednoglasni izbor također lijepo zvuči. Moj dojam sa razgovora u postupku izbora bio je da su oni prepoznali moju predanost turizmu u promociji i predstavljanju grada u jednom svjetlu kakav on kao turistički grad zaslužuje, tako da mislim da je bila presudna emocija, odnosno strast za posao koji ja ionako radim već godinama - izjavila je Bencun.
Pitali smo je koje prve poteze namjerava povući kao nova direktorica?
- Sad je prerano za davanje izjava o potezima koje mislim napraviti u vođenju Turističke zajednice. Ovo je meni ipak nešto novo. Ja sam do sada cijeli život radila kao poduzetnica i samostalno, sad ipak ulazim u sustav koji je već izgrađen i koji već ima svoj program. Pretpostavljam da se neke stvari koje su već ugovorene moraju ispoštovati, tako da je prerano da ja sad kažem nešto o tome. Molila bih vas za malo vremena da vidim zatečeno stanje, pa da onda iziđem s nekom informacijom što ćemo dalje.
Što će sad biti s privatnim biznisom, odnosno s Vašom turističkom agencijom za outdoor turizam?
- Naravno to je bilo i jedno od pitanja na intervjuu Vijeća, sasvim logično su me pitali što će sad biti s agencijom. Rekla sam da nemam samo jednu agenciju, već dvije, kako bi se reklo ‘kad si vridan radiš svašta‘, međutim čim sam se prijavila bila sam spremna na tu situaciju. Dakle moja turistička agencija Feral tours u kojoj sam stopostotni vlasnik će se ugasiti, a u agenciji u kojoj sam u partnerstvu s još dvije partnerice, prepustit ću vlasnički dio njima i nastavit će dalje bez mene - kazala je Iva Bencun u prvom "mini" razgovoru za medije.
