Egipat je upozorio Izrael na moguće nasilje tri dana prije Hamasovog smrtonosnog napada, rekao je predsjednik panela u američkom Kongresu, piše BBC.

O navodnom upozorenju novinarima je govorio čelnik Odbora za vanjske poslove Zastupničkog doma Michael McCaul.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu bijesno je rekao da su izvješća ‘potpuno lažna‘.

Izraelske obavještajne službe suočene su s kritikama jer nisu uspjele spriječiti najsmrtonosniji napad palestinskih militanata u 75-godišnjoj povijesti Izraela.

‘Znamo da je Egipat upozorio Izraelce tri dana prije da bi se ovakav događaj mogao dogoditi‘, rekao je McCaul novinarima u srijedu nakon zatvorenog obavještajnog sastanka zastupnika o krizi na Bliskom istoku, prenosi AFP.

‘Ne želim previše ulaziti u tajne podatke, ali upozorenje je poslano‘, dodao je republikanac iz Teksasa. ‘Mislim da je bilo pitanje na kojoj razini je poslano.‘

Dužnosnik egipatske obavještajne službe rekao je novinskoj agenciji Associated Press ovog tjedna da je Kairo više puta upozoravao Izraelce da se iz Gaze planira ‘nešto veliko‘.

‘Upozorili smo ih da će situacija eksplodirati, i to vrlo brzo, i da će akcija biti velika. Ali podcijenili su naša upozorenja‘, rekao je dužnosnik koji je želio ostati anoniman.

Dužnosnik iz Kaira rekao je da su izraelski dužnosnici umanjili prijetnju iz Gaze te su se umjesto toga usredotočili na Zapadnu obalu.

Prema Financial Timesu, koji je citirao dva neimenovana dužnosnika upoznata s tim pitanjem, nije bilo čvrstih obavještajnih podataka o konkretnom napadu.

U srijedu je izraelski predsjednik Netanyahu svaku sugestiju da je Izrael primio posebno upozorenje prije smrtonosnog upada opisao kao ‘potpuno lažnu vijest‘.

Egipat – koji strogo kontrolira tko prelazi njegovu granicu s Gazom – često služi kao posrednik između Izraela i Hamasa.

Više od 1500 militanata probilo je u subotu sigurnosnu barijeru Gaze u koordiniranom napadu s kopna, zraka i mora.

Broj poginulih u napadima Hamasa u Izraelu dostigao je 1.200. Više od 1000 ljudi ubijeno je u izraelskim zračnim napadima na Gazu.

Izrael je u znak odmazde gađao ciljeve Hamasa u Gazi. Stanovnici tog područja kažu da nemaju električne energije nakon što je njihova jedina elektrana ostala bez goriva.

Hamas je u međuvremenu osudio izjave američkog predsjednika Joea Bidena koji je u utorak rekao da Izrael ima dužnost odgovoriti na napade, koje je nazvao ‘činom čistog zla‘.

Palestinska skupina Hamas je rekla da Bidenove izjave imaju za cilj eskalaciju napetosti u Pojasu Gaze.

Nakon napada Hamasa, SAD je objavio da premješta nosač zrakoplova, brodove i mlažnjake u istočni Mediteran te da će također dati Izraelu dodatnu opremu i streljivo, prenosi Jutarnji.hr.

Egipat je upozorio Izrael na moguće nasilje tri dana prije Hamasovog smrtonosnog napada, rekao je predsjednik panela u američkom Kongresu, piše BBC.

O navodnom upozorenju novinarima je govorio čelnik Odbora za vanjske poslove Zastupničkog doma Michael McCaul.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu bijesno je rekao da su izvješća ‘potpuno lažna‘.

Izraelske obavještajne službe suočene su s kritikama jer nisu uspjele spriječiti najsmrtonosniji napad palestinskih militanata u 75-godišnjoj povijesti Izraela.

‘Znamo da je Egipat upozorio Izraelce tri dana prije da bi se ovakav događaj mogao dogoditi‘, rekao je McCaul novinarima u srijedu nakon zatvorenog obavještajnog sastanka zastupnika o krizi na Bliskom istoku, prenosi AFP.

‘Ne želim previše ulaziti u tajne podatke, ali upozorenje je poslano‘, dodao je republikanac iz Teksasa. ‘Mislim da je bilo pitanje na kojoj razini je poslano.‘

Dužnosnik egipatske obavještajne službe rekao je novinskoj agenciji Associated Press ovog tjedna da je Kairo više puta upozoravao Izraelce da se iz Gaze planira ‘nešto veliko‘.

‘Upozorili smo ih da će situacija eksplodirati, i to vrlo brzo, i da će akcija biti velika. Ali podcijenili su naša upozorenja‘, rekao je dužnosnik koji je želio ostati anoniman.

Dužnosnik iz Kaira rekao je da su izraelski dužnosnici umanjili prijetnju iz Gaze te su se umjesto toga usredotočili na Zapadnu obalu.

Egipat je upozorio Izrael na moguće nasilje tri dana prije Hamasovog smrtonosnog napada, rekao je predsjednik panela u američkom Kongresu, piše BBC.

O navodnom upozorenju novinarima je govorio čelnik Odbora za vanjske poslove Zastupničkog doma Michael McCaul.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu bijesno je rekao da su izvješća ‘potpuno lažna‘.

Izraelske obavještajne službe suočene su s kritikama jer nisu uspjele spriječiti najsmrtonosniji napad palestinskih militanata u 75-godišnjoj povijesti Izraela.

‘Znamo da je Egipat upozorio Izraelce tri dana prije da bi se ovakav događaj mogao dogoditi‘, rekao je McCaul novinarima u srijedu nakon zatvorenog obavještajnog sastanka zastupnika o krizi na Bliskom istoku, prenosi AFP.

‘Ne želim previše ulaziti u tajne podatke, ali upozorenje je poslano‘, dodao je republikanac iz Teksasa. ‘Mislim da je bilo pitanje na kojoj razini je poslano.‘

Dužnosnik egipatske obavještajne službe rekao je novinskoj agenciji Associated Press ovog tjedna da je Kairo više puta upozoravao Izraelce da se iz Gaze planira ‘nešto veliko‘.

‘Upozorili smo ih da će situacija eksplodirati, i to vrlo brzo, i da će akcija biti velika. Ali podcijenili su naša upozorenja‘, rekao je dužnosnik koji je želio ostati anoniman.

Dužnosnik iz Kaira rekao je da su izraelski dužnosnici umanjili prijetnju iz Gaze te su se umjesto toga usredotočili na Zapadnu obalu.
