Godinu dana nakon uvođenja eura građani i dalje kod kuće drže veliki iznos kuna, čak 4,66 milijardi ili trećinu iznosa koji je bio u optjecaju do kraja prošle godine (14,7 milijardi kuna), piše u subotu Jutarnji list.
To ujedno znači da, barem za sada, propuštaju uzeti gotovo 620 milijuna eura. Proces konverzije bio je najintenzivniji krajem prošle i početkom ove godine, a nastavio se vrlo umjerenim tempom.
Tako je u posljednja četiri mjeseca iznos gotovine kuna smanjen za nešto više od pola milijarde, ali to se uvelike pripisuje činjenici da su tijekom ljeta zaostale kune vraćali strani turisti koji su se vratili u Hrvatsku.
Kada se zasebno razmatraju novčanice i kovanice, podaci HNB-a pokazuju da je u sustavu i dalje 12 posto novčanica i čak 75 posto kovanica. Ako je od oko 3 milijarde kovanica kune u sustavu i dalje njih 2,24 milijarde, čini se da je za te svrhe osigurana vojarna Croatia prilično prazna.
Pretpostavlja se da su građani zadržali značajan iznos kuna iz sentimentalnih razloga, ocjenjuju da ih zadržavanje nekoliko novčanica i kovanica neće osiromašiti, a ipak žele sačuvati primjerke domaće valute.
Drugi razlog mogao bi biti zakonom motiviran, zbog spornog načina stjecanja novca, a moguće da je još nešto ostalo i u džepovima turista. Pozivajući se na iskustva drugih zemalja koje su uvele euro, HNB navodi da se "nikad ne zamijeni cjelokupan gotov novac bivše valute".
Raspoloživi podaci središnjih banaka pokazuju da su građani eurozone u prosjeku zadržali 3,16 posto novčanica nacionalnih valuta.
Predvodi Estonija s čak 7 posto nevraćenih novčanica, a u druge dvije baltičke zemlje, Latviji i Litvi, taj je prosjek oko 3,5 posto premda su euro uvele tri, odnosno četiri godine kasnije (2014. i 2015.). Primjerke svoje valute za uspomenu uvelike su zadržali i Nijemci: u sustavu im je ostalo 4,7 posto novčanica marke, vrijednost 5,7 milijardi, piše novinarka Jutarnjeg lista Marina Klepo.

Godinu dana nakon uvođenja eura građani i dalje kod kuće drže veliki iznos kuna, čak 4,66 milijardi ili trećinu iznosa koji je bio u optjecaju do kraja prošle godine (14,7 milijardi kuna), piše u subotu Jutarnji list.
To ujedno znači da, barem za sada, propuštaju uzeti gotovo 620 milijuna eura. Proces konverzije bio je najintenzivniji krajem prošle i početkom ove godine, a nastavio se vrlo umjerenim tempom.
Tako je u posljednja četiri mjeseca iznos gotovine kuna smanjen za nešto više od pola milijarde, ali to se uvelike pripisuje činjenici da su tijekom ljeta zaostale kune vraćali strani turisti koji su se vratili u Hrvatsku.
Kada se zasebno razmatraju novčanice i kovanice, podaci HNB-a pokazuju da je u sustavu i dalje 12 posto novčanica i čak 75 posto kovanica. Ako je od oko 3 milijarde kovanica kune u sustavu i dalje njih 2,24 milijarde, čini se da je za te svrhe osigurana vojarna Croatia prilično prazna.
Pretpostavlja se da su građani zadržali značajan iznos kuna iz sentimentalnih razloga, ocjenjuju da ih zadržavanje nekoliko novčanica i kovanica neće osiromašiti, a ipak žele sačuvati primjerke domaće valute.
Drugi razlog mogao bi biti zakonom motiviran, zbog spornog načina stjecanja novca, a moguće da je još nešto ostalo i u džepovima turista. Pozivajući se na iskustva drugih zemalja koje su uvele euro, HNB navodi da se "nikad ne zamijeni cjelokupan gotov novac bivše valute".
Raspoloživi podaci središnjih banaka pokazuju da su građani eurozone u prosjeku zadržali 3,16 posto novčanica nacionalnih valuta.
Predvodi Estonija s čak 7 posto nevraćenih novčanica, a u druge dvije baltičke zemlje, Latviji i Litvi, taj je prosjek oko 3,5 posto premda su euro uvele tri, odnosno četiri godine kasnije (2014. i 2015.). Primjerke svoje valute za uspomenu uvelike su zadržali i Nijemci: u sustavu im je ostalo 4,7 posto novčanica marke, vrijednost 5,7 milijardi, piše novinarka Jutarnjeg lista Marina Klepo.
