Podravski poljoprivrednik (67) završio je u istražnom zatvoru zbog sumnje da je više od osam godina na svom imanju kod Koprivnice držao roba.

Općinsko državno odvjetništvo u Koprivnici izvijestilo je u ponedjeljak da je ispitalo uhićenog hrvatskog državljanina rođenog 1953. i protiv njega pokrenulo istragu zbog sumnje da je počinio kazneno djelo ropstva.

Tužiteljstvo navodi da je 67-godišnjak od početka 2012. do kolovoza 2020. na svojem poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu u okolici Koprivnice, kršeći odredbe Europske konvencije za zaštitu ljudskih prava i temeljnih sloboda i odredbe Povelje Europske unije o temeljnim pravima, iskoristio teške osobne prilike i siromaštvo 50-godišnjeg oštećenika i prisilio ga da svakodnevno obavlja teške fizičke poslove.

Za težak rad mu pritom nije davao nikakvu novčanu naknadu.

"Osnovano se sumnja da mu nije ishodio zdravstvenu zaštitu niti mu osigurao osnovne higijenske uvjete za život, kao i da mu je ograničio slobodu kretanja, socijalne kontakte i fizički ga kažnjavao, čime je uspostavio njegovu potpunu pokornost i kontrolu nad njegovim životom te postupao s njime kao sa svojim vlasništvom", izvijestilo je tužiteljstvo.

Sutkinja istrage Županijskog suda u Varaždinu usvojila je prijedlog državnog odvjetnika i 67-godišnjaku odredila istražni zatvor zbog opasnosti od utjecaja na svjedoke u postupku.

Podravski poljoprivrednik (67) završio je u istražnom zatvoru zbog sumnje da je više od osam godina na svom imanju kod Koprivnice držao roba.

Općinsko državno odvjetništvo u Koprivnici izvijestilo je u ponedjeljak da je ispitalo uhićenog hrvatskog državljanina rođenog 1953. i protiv njega pokrenulo istragu zbog sumnje da je počinio kazneno djelo ropstva.

Tužiteljstvo navodi da je 67-godišnjak od početka 2012. do kolovoza 2020. na svojem poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu u okolici Koprivnice, kršeći odredbe Europske konvencije za zaštitu ljudskih prava i temeljnih sloboda i odredbe Povelje Europske unije o temeljnim pravima, iskoristio teške osobne prilike i siromaštvo 50-godišnjeg oštećenika i prisilio ga da svakodnevno obavlja teške fizičke poslove.

Za težak rad mu pritom nije davao nikakvu novčanu naknadu.

"Osnovano se sumnja da mu nije ishodio zdravstvenu zaštitu niti mu osigurao osnovne higijenske uvjete za život, kao i da mu je ograničio slobodu kretanja, socijalne kontakte i fizički ga kažnjavao, čime je uspostavio njegovu potpunu pokornost i kontrolu nad njegovim životom te postupao s njime kao sa svojim vlasništvom", izvijestilo je tužiteljstvo.

Sutkinja istrage Županijskog suda u Varaždinu usvojila je prijedlog državnog odvjetnika i 67-godišnjaku odredila istražni zatvor zbog opasnosti od utjecaja na svjedoke u postupku.

Podravski poljoprivrednik držao osobu kao roba duže od 8 godina, završio u istražnom zatvoru

Podravski poljoprivrednik (67) završio je u istražnom zatvoru zbog sumnje da je više od osam godina na svom imanju kod Koprivnice držao roba.

Općinsko državno odvjetništvo u Koprivnici izvijestilo je u ponedjeljak da je ispitalo uhićenog hrvatskog državljanina rođenog 1953. i protiv njega pokrenulo istragu zbog sumnje da je počinio kazneno djelo ropstva.

Tužiteljstvo navodi da je 67-godišnjak od početka 2012. do kolovoza 2020. na svojem poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu u okolici Koprivnice, kršeći odredbe Europske konvencije za zaštitu ljudskih prava i temeljnih sloboda i odredbe Povelje Europske unije o temeljnim pravima, iskoristio teške osobne prilike i siromaštvo 50-godišnjeg oštećenika i prisilio ga da svakodnevno obavlja teške fizičke poslove.

Za težak rad mu pritom nije davao nikakvu novčanu naknadu.

"Osnovano se sumnja da mu nije ishodio zdravstvenu zaštitu niti mu osigurao osnovne higijenske uvjete za život, kao i da mu je ograničio slobodu kretanja, socijalne kontakte i fizički ga kažnjavao, čime je uspostavio njegovu potpunu pokornost i kontrolu nad njegovim životom te postupao s njime kao sa svojim vlasništvom", izvijestilo je tužiteljstvo.

Sutkinja istrage Županijskog suda u Varaždinu usvojila je prijedlog državnog odvjetnika i 67-godišnjaku odredila istražni zatvor zbog opasnosti od utjecaja na svjedoke u postupku.
