Djelatnici Nasada u četvrtak su potkresali platanu na Tomislavovoj obali koju je netko namjeravao uništiti ulijevanjem otrova u deblo. Riječ je o "šok postupku" kako bi se stablo "natjeralo" da se počne boriti za život puštanjem novih mladica. Naizgled, platana je potpuno osušena, ali moguće je i da se oporavi.

Na pet platana na Tomislavovoj obali primijećene su rupe od svrdla, a po ožiljcima na deblu jasno je da je kroz otvor ulijevan neki otrov jer je kora potpuno osušena. Djelatnici Nasada o tome su obaviješteni u ponedjeljak, zahvaljujući dojavi građana koji su napravili i fotografije oštećenih stabala. Nasadi su podnijeli prijavu policiji protiv nepoznatog počinitelja zbog uništavanja stabala, tzv. "stablocida".

Dipl. ing. agronomije Roko Štokov, zadarski "doktor za palme" koji je pronašao način za spas tog ukrasnog drveća kojega napadaju nametnici širom Dalmacije, pregledao je napadnute platane.

- Nisam uspio detaljno analizirati što se događa sa stablima, ali prema onome što sam okvirno vidio, mislim da su platane još uvijek žive. Imam nekih indicija što se tamo dogodilo. Rupe nisu nove, napravljene su prije godinu dana, možda i ranije i nešto se u stabla ulijevalo s namjerom da ih se ubije, treba vidjeti što. Razlog tog čina može biti da je netko želio ukloniti stabla s tog mjesta. Radi se o dugogodišnjim stablima i možda je nekome smetalo što su zaklanjala vizuru zgrade ili zauzimala prostor, ali moguće je i da se radi i o činu neke poremećene osobe, pogotovo jer su se takve stvari već događale po gradu – rekao je Štokov.

Famozni „nepoznati počinitelj” u zadnjih nekoliko godina uništio je desetke stabala bora, lovora i drugih vrsta u uvali Maestrala, kod starog Kazališta lutaka i Doma za starije. Sad se namjerio na drvored platana na Obali kralja Tomislava kod Peglice, postupak je uvijek isti: svrdlom promjera nešto većeg od centimetra otvori duboku rupu na deblu i kroz nju ulije neki otrov, pesticid ili herbicid, kojim ubija biljku. Stablo se ubrzo osuši, pa na scenu stupaju radnici Nasada koji ga moraju posjeći.

- Sutra ću detaljnije pogledati ta stabla kako bih detaljnije vidio što se nalazi u tim rupama. Kod nas svatko misli da se može baviti hortikulturom, a to bi ipak trebalo prepustiti stručnjacima. Postoje veliki izgledi da se spase, jer tako velika stabla ipak nije baš tako lako "ubiti". Drugo je pitanje jesu li platane već prerasle i je li došlo vrijeme da se zamijene nekim drugim stablima. O tome se može razgovarati, ali sigurno ne ovakvim načinom kakav se dogodio na drvoredu – rekao je Štokov.

Djelatnici Nasada u četvrtak su potkresali platanu na Tomislavovoj obali koju je netko namjeravao uništiti ulijevanjem otrova u deblo. Riječ je o "šok postupku" kako bi se stablo "natjeralo" da se počne boriti za život puštanjem novih mladica. Naizgled, platana je potpuno osušena, ali moguće je i da se oporavi.

Na pet platana na Tomislavovoj obali primijećene su rupe od svrdla, a po ožiljcima na deblu jasno je da je kroz otvor ulijevan neki otrov jer je kora potpuno osušena. Djelatnici Nasada o tome su obaviješteni u ponedjeljak, zahvaljujući dojavi građana koji su napravili i fotografije oštećenih stabala. Nasadi su podnijeli prijavu policiji protiv nepoznatog počinitelja zbog uništavanja stabala, tzv. "stablocida".

Dipl. ing. agronomije Roko Štokov, zadarski "doktor za palme" koji je pronašao način za spas tog ukrasnog drveća kojega napadaju nametnici širom Dalmacije, pregledao je napadnute platane.

- Nisam uspio detaljno analizirati što se događa sa stablima, ali prema onome što sam okvirno vidio, mislim da su platane još uvijek žive. Imam nekih indicija što se tamo dogodilo. Rupe nisu nove, napravljene su prije godinu dana, možda i ranije i nešto se u stabla ulijevalo s namjerom da ih se ubije, treba vidjeti što. Razlog tog čina može biti da je netko želio ukloniti stabla s tog mjesta. Radi se o dugogodišnjim stablima i možda je nekome smetalo što su zaklanjala vizuru zgrade ili zauzimala prostor, ali moguće je i da se radi i o činu neke poremećene osobe, pogotovo jer su se takve stvari već događale po gradu – rekao je Štokov.

Famozni „nepoznati počinitelj” u zadnjih nekoliko godina uništio je desetke stabala bora, lovora i drugih vrsta u uvali Maestrala, kod starog Kazališta lutaka i Doma za starije. Sad se namjerio na drvored platana na Obali kralja Tomislava kod Peglice, postupak je uvijek isti: svrdlom promjera nešto većeg od centimetra otvori duboku rupu na deblu i kroz nju ulije neki otrov, pesticid ili herbicid, kojim ubija biljku. Stablo se ubrzo osuši, pa na scenu stupaju radnici Nasada koji ga moraju posjeći.

- Sutra ću detaljnije pogledati ta stabla kako bih detaljnije vidio što se nalazi u tim rupama. Kod nas svatko misli da se može baviti hortikulturom, a to bi ipak trebalo prepustiti stručnjacima. Postoje veliki izgledi da se spase, jer tako velika stabla ipak nije baš tako lako "ubiti". Drugo je pitanje jesu li platane već prerasle i je li došlo vrijeme da se zamijene nekim drugim stablima. O tome se može razgovarati, ali sigurno ne ovakvim načinom kakav se dogodio na drvoredu – rekao je Štokov.

Nasadi potkresali jednu od pet otrovanih platana, stabla će se ipak pokušati spasiti

Djelatnici Nasada u četvrtak su potkresali platanu na Tomislavovoj obali koju je netko namjeravao uništiti ulijevanjem otrova u deblo. Riječ je o "šok postupku" kako bi se stablo "natjeralo" da se počne boriti za život puštanjem novih mladica. Naizgled, platana je potpuno osušena, ali moguće je i da se oporavi.

Na pet platana na Tomislavovoj obali primijećene su rupe od svrdla, a po ožiljcima na deblu jasno je da je kroz otvor ulijevan neki otrov jer je kora potpuno osušena.
