Grad Zadar u prošloj je godini stigao nadomak broja noćenja iz 2019. godine, ali je uslijed rasta potrošnje, dužeg zadržavanja u destinaciji  i drugačije strukture gostiju realno po mnogim pokazateljima u turističkom smislu nadmašio rekordnu 2019. godinu. Kako bi se taj trend nastavio i u ovoj godini, Turistička zajednica grada Zadra predstavlja se na najvećim turističkim sajmovima, priželjkujući porast dolazaka gostiju više i visoke platežne moći.

Nakon sajma u Londonu krajem prošle godine, promocija Zadra kao grada bogate kulturne baštine i vrhunske gastronomije u centru regije s izrazitim prirodnim ljepotama nastavljena je na prestižnom sajmu New York Travel Adventure Show, a početkom ožujka bit će predstavljena u Berlinu i Napulju.

Predstavljanje u New Yorku krajem siječnja odrađeno u organizaciji Hrvatske turističke zajednice, koja je Zadru omogućila kontinuitet prisutnosti nakon samostalnog predstavljanja 2020. godine.

- Turističke zajednice grada Zadra i Zadarske županije prepoznale su potencijal rasta na američkom tržištu, gdje su već nekoliko godina prisutne na sajmovima. Pandemija je cijelu stvar malo usporila, ali „vraćamo se u život“ i koristimo svaki trenutak za promociju naše destinacije. HTZ-u su Sjedinjene Američke Države najvažnije daleko tržište s gostima koji imaju najveću platežnu moć, ostvaruju veći broj noćenja i veću potrošnju, a to sigurno ide u prilog svima koji posluju u turističkom sektoru, bez obzira bave li se smještajem, ugostiteljstvom, trgovinom ili servisnim djelatnostima, kaže direktor TZ grada Zadra Mario Paleka.

Broj američkih turista koji dolaze u Zadar još uvijek nije velik, ali posjetitelja iz SAD-a ima tijekom cijele godine, čak i sada u veljači. Očekivano prevladavaju gosti s Istočne obale, iako određeni potencijal postoji i na Zapadnoj obali. Hoće li oni na kraju zaista posjetiti Zadar, osim o promociji, ovisi i o izravnim avionskim letovima i hotelskim kapacitetima.

- Velika je stvar najava povećanja terminala i eventualno produljenje zračne piste u Zračnoj luci Zadar, koja bi u perspektivi mogla uroditi izravnim prekooceanskim letovima. Dok se to ne ostvari, bilo bi dobro imati izravnu cjelogodišnju liniju s nekom od zračnih luka u Europi koja je dobar „hub“ za takve letove, poput Frankfurta, Beča, Münchena, Venecije… Kad bismo dobili takvu liniju, vjerujem kako bismo višestruko naplatili trud uložen u promociju, kaže Paleka.

Osim na spomenutim sajmovima, turistička ponuda prezentirat će se i na nekim bližim tržištima koja ne daju priželjkivane rezultate, poput talijanskoga. Talijani imaju dugu tradiciju dolazaka na našu obalu, što je i logično zbog blizine i dobre prometne infrastrukture. Novim aktivnostima, a po mogućnosti i izravnom brodskom linijom Zadar – Ancona, trebalo bi ih ponovno motivirati na dolazak.

- Koliko god je promocija destinacija otišla u digitalnom smjeru, ostaje činjenica kako se bez izravnog kontakta ne mogu ostvariti važniji poslovi. Stoga nam je važno prisustvo na sajmovima, pa ćemo do sezone biti prisutni na svim mjestima gdje možemo ostvariti konkretan rezultat, najavljuje Paleka.

Grad Zadar u prošloj je godini stigao nadomak broja noćenja iz 2019. godine, ali je uslijed rasta potrošnje, dužeg zadržavanja u destinaciji  i drugačije strukture gostiju realno po mnogim pokazateljima u turističkom smislu nadmašio rekordnu 2019. godinu. Kako bi se taj trend nastavio i u ovoj godini, Turistička zajednica grada Zadra predstavlja se na najvećim turističkim sajmovima, priželjkujući porast dolazaka gostiju više i visoke platežne moći.

Nakon sajma u Londonu krajem prošle godine, promocija Zadra kao grada bogate kulturne baštine i vrhunske gastronomije u centru regije s izrazitim prirodnim ljepotama nastavljena je na prestižnom sajmu New York Travel Adventure Show, a početkom ožujka bit će predstavljena u Berlinu i Napulju.

Predstavljanje u New Yorku krajem siječnja odrađeno u organizaciji Hrvatske turističke zajednice, koja je Zadru omogućila kontinuitet prisutnosti nakon samostalnog predstavljanja 2020. godine.

- Turističke zajednice grada Zadra i Zadarske županije prepoznale su potencijal rasta na američkom tržištu, gdje su već nekoliko godina prisutne na sajmovima. Pandemija je cijelu stvar malo usporila, ali „vraćamo se u život“ i koristimo svaki trenutak za promociju naše destinacije. HTZ-u su Sjedinjene Američke Države najvažnije daleko tržište s gostima koji imaju najveću platežnu moć, ostvaruju veći broj noćenja i veću potrošnju, a to sigurno ide u prilog svima koji posluju u turističkom sektoru, bez obzira bave li se smještajem, ugostiteljstvom, trgovinom ili servisnim djelatnostima, kaže direktor TZ grada Zadra Mario Paleka.

Broj američkih turista koji dolaze u Zadar još uvijek nije velik, ali posjetitelja iz SAD-a ima tijekom cijele godine, čak i sada u veljači. Očekivano prevladavaju gosti s Istočne obale, iako određeni potencijal postoji i na Zapadnoj obali. Hoće li oni na kraju zaista posjetiti Zadar, osim o promociji, ovisi i o izravnim avionskim letovima i hotelskim kapacitetima.

- Velika je stvar najava povećanja terminala i eventualno produljenje zračne piste u Zračnoj luci Zadar, koja bi u perspektivi mogla uroditi izravnim prekooceanskim letovima. Dok se to ne ostvari, bilo bi dobro imati izravnu cjelogodišnju liniju s nekom od zračnih luka u Europi koja je dobar „hub“ za takve letove, poput Frankfurta, Beča, Münchena, Venecije… Kad bismo dobili takvu liniju, vjerujem kako bismo višestruko naplatili trud uložen u promociju, kaže Paleka.

Osim na spomenutim sajmovima, turistička ponuda prezentirat će se i na nekim bližim tržištima koja ne daju priželjkivane rezultate, poput talijanskoga. Talijani imaju dugu tradiciju dolazaka na našu obalu, što je i logično zbog blizine i dobre prometne infrastrukture. Novim aktivnostima, a po mogućnosti i izravnom brodskom linijom Zadar – Ancona, trebalo bi ih ponovno motivirati na dolazak.

- Koliko god je promocija destinacija otišla u digitalnom smjeru, ostaje činjenica kako se bez izravnog kontakta ne mogu ostvariti važniji poslovi. Stoga nam je važno prisustvo na sajmovima, pa ćemo do sezone biti prisutni na svim mjestima gdje možemo ostvariti konkretan rezultat, najavljuje Paleka.

Zadar se predstavlja na najvećim sajmovima: nakon Londona i New Yorka na redu su Berlin i Napulj

Grad Zadar u prošloj je godini stigao nadomak broja noćenja iz 2019. godine, ali je uslijed rasta potrošnje, dužeg zadržavanja u destinaciji  i drugačije strukture gostiju realno po mnogim pokazateljima u turističkom smislu nadmašio rekordnu 2019. godinu. Kako bi se taj trend nastavio i u ovoj godini, Turistička zajednica grada Zadra predstavlja se na najvećim turističkim sajmovima, priželjkujući porast dolazaka gostiju više i visoke platežne moći.

Nakon sajma u Londonu krajem prošle godine, promocija Zadra kao grada bogate kulturne baštine i vrhunske gastronomije u centru regije s izrazitim prirodnim ljepotama nastavljena je na prestižnom sajmu New York Travel Adventure Show, a početkom ožujka bit će predstavljena u Berlinu i Napulju.

Predstavljanje u New Yorku krajem siječnja odrađeno u organizaciji Hrvatske turističke zajednice, koja je Zadru omogućila kontinuitet prisutnosti nakon samostalnog predstavljanja 2020. godine.

- Turističke zajednice grada Zadra i Zadarske županije prepoznale su potencijal rasta na američkom tržištu, gdje su već nekoliko godina prisutne na sajmovima. Pandemija je cijelu stvar malo usporila, ali „vraćamo se u život“ i koristimo svaki trenutak za promociju naše destinacije. HTZ-u su Sjedinjene Američke Države najvažnije daleko tržište s gostima koji imaju najveću platežnu moć, ostvaruju veći broj noćenja i veću potrošnju, a to sigurno ide u prilog svima koji posluju u turističkom sektoru, bez obzira bave li se smještajem, ugostiteljstvom, trgovinom ili servisnim djelatnostima, kaže direktor TZ grada Zadra Mario Paleka.

Broj američkih turista koji dolaze u Zadar još uvijek nije velik, ali posjetitelja iz SAD-a ima tijekom cijele godine, čak i sada u veljači. Očekivano prevladavaju gosti s Istočne obale, iako određeni potencijal postoji i na Zapadnoj obali. Hoće li oni na kraju zaista posjetiti Zadar, osim o promociji, ovisi i o izravnim avionskim letovima i hotelskim kapacitetima.

- Velika je stvar najava povećanja terminala i eventualno produljenje zračne piste u Zračnoj luci Zadar, koja bi u perspektivi mogla uroditi izravnim prekooceanskim letovima. Dok se to ne ostvari, bilo bi dobro imati izravnu cjelogodišnju liniju s nekom od zračnih luka u Europi koja je dobar „hub“ za takve letove, poput Frankfurta, Beča, Münchena, Venecije… Kad bismo dobili takvu liniju, vjerujem kako bismo višestruko naplatili trud uložen u promociju, kaže Paleka.
