U KBC-u Split ovog je četvrtka je po prvi put izvedena kompleksna operacija vađenja zloćudnog tumora iz srca mlađe pacijentice iz Varaždina koja se dobro oporavlja

Operaciju je izveo dr. Mate Petričević, pročelnik Zavoda za kardiokirurgiju KBC-a sa svojim timom. ​Kako je za Hinu rekao dr. Petričević, riječ je o ‘"kompleksnoj proceduri kirurškog odstranjenja, ekstirpaciji zloćudnog tumora srca". Radilo se o angiosarkomu, koji je vrlo rijedak tumor srca teko da su zapravo iskustva operacijskih centara u liječenju tog zloćudnog tumora minimalna.

Operacija je trajala više od osam sati, a pacijentica je dobro i jutro iza operacije već sjedi na krevetu, dodao je.

​Objašnjava kako je tu primijenjen koncept "fast tracking", odnosno koncept "brzog oporavka", što je uvela prof. Višnja Ivančan koja je nedavno došla raditi u splitski KBC Split na njegov poziv, nakon vi​š​e od 20 godina obavljanja dužnosti ​š​efi​c​e ​K​ardiokirur​š​ke anestezije KBC-a Rebro u Zagrebu.

U "fast trackingu" se uz posebnu kombinaciju anestezioloških lijekova kardiokirurškim bolesnicima omogućuje brzo buđenje i oporavak. Tako se pacijentica iz Varaždina probudila iz inducirane kome već tri sata nakon dolaska iz operacijske sale.

- Postoji vrlo mali broj centara koji su izvodili tu vrstu operacijskog zahvata. Taj zloćudni tumor je toliko rijedak da su najveći svjetski centri, kao što su primjerice kardiokirurški centri u SAD- u, imali u 22 godine u bazi podataka svega 25 takvih bolesnika.

Govorim o centrima koji rade više od tisuću, pa čak i više kardiokirurških operacija godišnje. Toliko rijedak zloćudni tumor srca predstavlja izazov, jer on nije samo tumorska masa u sklopu srca već on infiltrira i stijenku srca, što njegov operacijski tretman čini zahtjevnim i delikatnijim - objasnio je dr. Petričević.

Objašnjava kako, nažalost, postoje dva dijela srca gdje se takav tumor najčešće javlja. Jedan je desna pretklijetka i desna klijetka, te lijeva pretklijetka s lijevom klijetkom koji su zbog pozicije srca teško dostupni za sam kirurški tretman. Ta zloćudna novotvorina ​je ​kod pacijentice Varaždina konkretno bila smještena u lijevoj pretklijetci, što je operacijsko liječenje činilo izuzetno fizički zahtjevnim, istaknuo je dr. Petričević.

Napominje kako se pacijentica prvotno obratila u zagrebački KBC Sestre milosrdnice, čije je stručno osoblje zatražilo pomoć od prvog čovjeka splitske Kardiokirurgije, koji je do sada obavio veliki broj kompliciranih operacija.

U KBC-u Split ovog je četvrtka je po prvi put izvedena kompleksna operacija vađenja zloćudnog tumora iz srca mlađe pacijentice iz Varaždina koja se dobro oporavlja

Operaciju je izveo dr. Mate Petričević, pročelnik Zavoda za kardiokirurgiju KBC-a sa svojim timom. ​Kako je za Hinu rekao dr. Petričević, riječ je o ‘"kompleksnoj proceduri kirurškog odstranjenja, ekstirpaciji zloćudnog tumora srca". Radilo se o angiosarkomu, koji je vrlo rijedak tumor srca teko da su zapravo iskustva operacijskih centara u liječenju tog zloćudnog tumora minimalna.

Operacija je trajala više od osam sati, a pacijentica je dobro i jutro iza operacije već sjedi na krevetu, dodao je.

​Objašnjava kako je tu primijenjen koncept "fast tracking", odnosno koncept "brzog oporavka", što je uvela prof. Višnja Ivančan koja je nedavno došla raditi u splitski KBC Split na njegov poziv, nakon vi​š​e od 20 godina obavljanja dužnosti ​š​efi​c​e ​K​ardiokirur​š​ke anestezije KBC-a Rebro u Zagrebu.

U "fast trackingu" se uz posebnu kombinaciju anestezioloških lijekova kardiokirurškim bolesnicima omogućuje brzo buđenje i oporavak. Tako se pacijentica iz Varaždina probudila iz inducirane kome već tri sata nakon dolaska iz operacijske sale.

- Postoji vrlo mali broj centara koji su izvodili tu vrstu operacijskog zahvata. Taj zloćudni tumor je toliko rijedak da su najveći svjetski centri, kao što su primjerice kardiokirurški centri u SAD- u, imali u 22 godine u bazi podataka svega 25 takvih bolesnika.

Govorim o centrima koji rade više od tisuću, pa čak i više kardiokirurških operacija godišnje. Toliko rijedak zloćudni tumor srca predstavlja izazov, jer on nije samo tumorska masa u sklopu srca već on infiltrira i stijenku srca, što njegov operacijski tretman čini zahtjevnim i delikatnijim - objasnio je dr. Petričević.

Objašnjava kako, nažalost, postoje dva dijela srca gdje se takav tumor najčešće javlja. Jedan je desna pretklijetka i desna klijetka, te lijeva pretklijetka s lijevom klijetkom koji su zbog pozicije srca teško dostupni za sam kirurški tretman. Ta zloćudna novotvorina ​je ​kod pacijentice Varaždina konkretno bila smještena u lijevoj pretklijetci, što je operacijsko liječenje činilo izuzetno fizički zahtjevnim, istaknuo je dr. Petričević.

Napominje kako se pacijentica prvotno obratila u zagrebački KBC Sestre milosrdnice, čije je stručno osoblje zatražilo pomoć od prvog čovjeka splitske Kardiokirurgije, koji je do sada obavio veliki broj kompliciranih operacija.
