U intervjuu za HNTV hrvatski nogometni reprezentativac Šime Vrsaljko se između ostaloga osvrnuo na ozljedu koljena koju je zadobio u četvrtfinalnoj utakmici protiv Rusije. Upravo zbog ozljede koljena Vrsaljko je pod velikim upitnikom za nastup u srijedu protiv Engleske u polufinalu - prenose Sportske novosti.

Morali ste napustiti igru protiv Rusa, jeste li spremni za Engleze?

"U tom prvom produžetku osjetio sam veći zamor u koljenu. Nešto čudno sam osjetio u koljenu i nakon razgovora s doktorima uz aut-liniju odlučili smo da napustim igru. Nije ništa strašno, ali smeta i ja se nadam da ću se uspjeti rekuperirati do utakmice s Engleskom", rekao je Vrsaljko, pa dodao:

"Zdravlje je na prvom mjestu, ali igra se za hrvatsku reprezentaciju, igra se polufinale Svjetskog prvenstva, tako da je suvšino uopće govoriti da ću dati 300 posto da budem spreman".

Kako zaustaviti Engleze koji su izuzetno jaki na krilima?

"Utakmica protiv Engleske će biti jedna sasvim druga nego što su bile one protiv Danske i Rusije. Imaju jednu veliku kvalitetu, dobro igraju, dobro su organizirani i fizički su moćni, ali mi smo isto tako svjesni svoje kvalitete. Oni isto tako imaju svoje mane koje ćemo mi nastojati iskoristiti i bit će to dugih 120 ili 90 minuta. Ali sad kad smo došli u polufinale, samopouzdanje je veliko i suludo je uopće pričati kako ćemo mi izaći na teren i kako ćemo se postaviti. U polufinalu predstavljamo svoju domovinu i idemo po ono o čemu svi sanjamo", objasnio je Vrsaljko.

U intervjuu za HNTV hrvatski nogometni reprezentativac Šime Vrsaljko se između ostaloga osvrnuo na ozljedu koljena koju je zadobio u četvrtfinalnoj utakmici protiv Rusije. Upravo zbog ozljede koljena Vrsaljko je pod velikim upitnikom za nastup u srijedu protiv Engleske u polufinalu - prenose Sportske novosti.

Morali ste napustiti igru protiv Rusa, jeste li spremni za Engleze?

"U tom prvom produžetku osjetio sam veći zamor u koljenu. Nešto čudno sam osjetio u koljenu i nakon razgovora s doktorima uz aut-liniju odlučili smo da napustim igru. Nije ništa strašno, ali smeta i ja se nadam da ću se uspjeti rekuperirati do utakmice s Engleskom", rekao je Vrsaljko, pa dodao:

"Zdravlje je na prvom mjestu, ali igra se za hrvatsku reprezentaciju, igra se polufinale Svjetskog prvenstva, tako da je suvšino uopće govoriti da ću dati 300 posto da budem spreman".

Kako zaustaviti Engleze koji su izuzetno jaki na krilima?

"Utakmica protiv Engleske će biti jedna sasvim druga nego što su bile one protiv Danske i Rusije. Imaju jednu veliku kvalitetu, dobro igraju, dobro su organizirani i fizički su moćni, ali mi smo isto tako svjesni svoje kvalitete. Oni isto tako imaju svoje mane koje ćemo mi nastojati iskoristiti i bit će to dugih 120 ili 90 minuta. Ali sad kad smo došli u polufinale, samopouzdanje je veliko i suludo je uopće pričati kako ćemo mi izaći na teren i kako ćemo se postaviti. U polufinalu predstavljamo svoju domovinu i idemo po ono o čemu svi sanjamo", objasnio je Vrsaljko.
