Najmanje 2300 mrtvih, mnogi zarobljeni pod ruševinama, apokaliptični prizori razorenih dijelova Turske i Sirije i strah od novih udara koji kidaju živce stanovnicima, posljedice su katastrofalnog zemljotresa koji je jutros pogodio te dvije zemlje. 

Tulin Akkaya, mlada Turkinja u Diyarbakiru, tek se uspjela malo sabrati nakon što ju je usred noći probudio najveći potres koji je pogodio Tursku u zadnjih gotovo stotinu godina, kad ju je drugi snažan potres natjerao da sigurnost ponovo potraži na ulici. 

Oko nje ostaci srušene zgrade u njezinu Diyarbakiru, gradu na jugoistoku zemlje, domu milijuna izbjeglica koji su pobjegli od rata i siromaštva u susjednoj Siriji.

Isto razaranje doživjela su i druga mjesta i gradovi duž granice Turske i Sirije, nakon potresa magnitude 7,8 po Richteru koji je pogodio dvije zemlje neposredno pred zoru.

Dužnosnici procjenjuju da je ukupan broj poginulih gotovo 2300. Ta brojka će sigurno još rasti. 

Akkaya je pokušavala sastaviti ostatke svog života nakon noćašnjeg udara, kada je drugi snažan potres zatresao kuću i prisilio je da ponovo izjuri van.

"Tako sam uplašena. Osjetila sam (naknadni potres) tako snažno jer živim na najvišem katu", rekla je ova 30-godišnja domaćica.

"U panici smo izjurili van. Bilo je gotovo isto kao i jutrošnji potres. Ne mogu se sada vratiti u stan, ne znam što će se dalje biti", u strahu govori Akkaya.

Apokalipsa

Naknadni potres, koji se zbio oko 11.30 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu, imao je magnitudu od 7,5, što je snaga za koju znanstvenici kažu da se u svijetu dogodi samo dvadesetak puta godišnje.

Činjenica da su dva potresa razorne snage u tako kratkom vremenu pogodila udaljeno i uglavnom nerazvijeno područje naglašava razmjere izazova s kojima se suočavaju spasioci u Turskoj i Siriji.

Dužnosnici su izbrojali više od 50 naknadnih potresa u prvih 10 sati od prvog. Upozorili su da će podrhtavanje tla trajati još danima.

Novi, naknadni potres izazvao je rušenje oštećenih zgrada u Diyarbakiru i obližnjim gradovima poput Kahramanmarasa.

Do njega je došlo baš kad su se preživjeli počeli vraćati u svoje stanove kako bi pokupili stvari koje bi im mogle pomoći da prežive hladnu noć koja ih čeka.

Većina regije ostala je bez plina i struje. Meteorološka služba najavila je kišu i susnježicu diljem jugoistočne Turske.

"Budući da živim u zoni potresa, navikla sam da na podrhtavanja tla", kaže  mlada reporterka iz Kahramanmarasa Melisa Salman.

"No ovo je bio prvi put da smo doživjeli tako nešto", kaže ova 23-godišnjakinja za agenciju AFP.

"Mislili smo da je to apokalipsa", dodaje Melisa.

Dijete izvučeno živo

Na ulicama prekrivenim ruševinama povremeno se pojavi koji tračak nade i izrazi radosti kad spasioci pronađu žive.

Tako su turska televizija i društveni mediji u ponedjeljak prenijeli vijest da je jedno dijete živo izvučeno ispod gomile velikih betonskih ostataka.

Televizija NTV prikazala je djevojčicu po imenu Zehra, koja je izgledala pomalo ošamućeno i tražila je oca, kako je umotana u vunenu deku stavljena u stražnji dio vozila hitne pomoći. Vozilo ju je potom odvezlo kroz snijegom prekrivenu ulicu dok se gomila razilazila u potrazi za drugim preživjelima.

Među njima je i 35-godišnji Aktemur. Bio je među prvima koji su stigli na mjesto rušenja prve velike zgrade u njegovom većinski kurdskom gradu.

"Uspjeli smo spasiti troje ljudi, ali dvoje je bilo mrtvo", prisjetio se Aktemur.

"Nakon drugog potresa ne mogu nikamo ići. Mislim da će im opet trebati moja pomoć", kaže ovaj mladi čovjek.

Najmanje 2300 mrtvih, mnogi zarobljeni pod ruševinama, apokaliptični prizori razorenih dijelova Turske i Sirije i strah od novih udara koji kidaju živce stanovnicima, posljedice su katastrofalnog zemljotresa koji je jutros pogodio te dvije zemlje. 

Tulin Akkaya, mlada Turkinja u Diyarbakiru, tek se uspjela malo sabrati nakon što ju je usred noći probudio najveći potres koji je pogodio Tursku u zadnjih gotovo stotinu godina, kad ju je drugi snažan potres natjerao da sigurnost ponovo potraži na ulici. 

Oko nje ostaci srušene zgrade u njezinu Diyarbakiru, gradu na jugoistoku zemlje, domu milijuna izbjeglica koji su pobjegli od rata i siromaštva u susjednoj Siriji.

Isto razaranje doživjela su i druga mjesta i gradovi duž granice Turske i Sirije, nakon potresa magnitude 7,8 po Richteru koji je pogodio dvije zemlje neposredno pred zoru.

Dužnosnici procjenjuju da je ukupan broj poginulih gotovo 2300. Ta brojka će sigurno još rasti. 

Akkaya je pokušavala sastaviti ostatke svog života nakon noćašnjeg udara, kada je drugi snažan potres zatresao kuću i prisilio je da ponovo izjuri van.

"Tako sam uplašena. Osjetila sam (naknadni potres) tako snažno jer živim na najvišem katu", rekla je ova 30-godišnja domaćica.

"U panici smo izjurili van. Bilo je gotovo isto kao i jutrošnji potres. Ne mogu se sada vratiti u stan, ne znam što će se dalje biti", u strahu govori Akkaya.

Apokalipsa

Naknadni potres, koji se zbio oko 11.30 sati po srednjoeuropskom vremenu, imao je magnitudu od 7,5, što je snaga za koju znanstvenici kažu da se u svijetu dogodi samo dvadesetak puta godišnje.

Činjenica da su dva potresa razorne snage u tako kratkom vremenu pogodila udaljeno i uglavnom nerazvijeno područje naglašava razmjere izazova s kojima se suočavaju spasioci u Turskoj i Siriji.

Dužnosnici su izbrojali više od 50 naknadnih potresa u prvih 10 sati od prvog. Upozorili su da će podrhtavanje tla trajati još danima.

Novi, naknadni potres izazvao je rušenje oštećenih zgrada u Diyarbakiru i obližnjim gradovima poput Kahramanmarasa.

Do njega je došlo baš kad su se preživjeli počeli vraćati u svoje stanove kako bi pokupili stvari koje bi im mogle pomoći da prežive hladnu noć koja ih čeka.

Većina regije ostala je bez plina i struje. Meteorološka služba najavila je kišu i susnježicu diljem jugoistočne Turske.

"Budući da živim u zoni potresa, navikla sam da na podrhtavanja tla", kaže  mlada reporterka iz Kahramanmarasa Melisa Salman.

"No ovo je bio prvi put da smo doživjeli tako nešto", kaže ova 23-godišnjakinja za agenciju AFP.

"Mislili smo da je to apokalipsa", dodaje Melisa.

Dijete izvučeno živo

Na ulicama prekrivenim ruševinama povremeno se pojavi koji tračak nade i izrazi radosti kad spasioci pronađu žive.

Tako su turska televizija i društveni mediji u ponedjeljak prenijeli vijest da je jedno dijete živo izvučeno ispod gomile velikih betonskih ostataka.

Televizija NTV prikazala je djevojčicu po imenu Zehra, koja je izgledala pomalo ošamućeno i tražila je oca, kako je umotana u vunenu deku stavljena u stražnji dio vozila hitne pomoći. Vozilo ju je potom odvezlo kroz snijegom prekrivenu ulicu dok se gomila razilazila u potrazi za drugim preživjelima.

Među njima je i 35-godišnji Aktemur. Bio je među prvima koji su stigli na mjesto rušenja prve velike zgrade u njegovom većinski kurdskom gradu.

"Uspjeli smo spasiti troje ljudi, ali dvoje je bilo mrtvo", prisjetio se Aktemur.

"Nakon drugog potresa ne mogu nikamo ići. Mislim da će im opet trebati moja pomoć", kaže ovaj mladi čovjek.

Najmanje 2300 mrtvih, mnogi zarobljeni pod ruševinama, apokaliptični prizori razorenih dijelova Turske i Sirije i strah od novih udara koji kidaju živce stanovnicima, posljedice su katastrofalnog zemljotresa koji je jutros pogodio te dvije zemlje. 

Tulin Akkaya, mlada Turkinja u Diyarbakiru, tek se uspjela malo sabrati nakon što ju je usred noći probudio najveći potres koji je pogodio Tursku u zadnjih gotovo stotinu godina, kad ju je drugi snažan potres natjerao da sigurnost ponovo potraži na ulici. 

Oko nje ostaci srušene zgrade u njezinu Diyarbakiru, gradu na jugoistoku zemlje, domu milijuna izbjeglica koji su pobjegli od rata i siromaštva u susjednoj Siriji.

Isto razaranje doživjela su i druga mjesta i gradovi duž granice Turske i Sirije, nakon potresa magnitude 7,8 po Richteru koji je pogodio dvije zemlje neposredno pred zoru.

Dužnosnici procjenjuju da je ukupan broj poginulih gotovo 2300. Ta brojka će sigurno još rasti. 

Akkaya je pokušavala sastaviti ostatke svog života nakon noćašnjeg udara, kada je drugi snažan potres zatresao kuću i prisilio je da ponovo izjuri van.

"Tako sam uplašena. Osjetila sam (naknadni potres) tako snažno jer živim na najvišem katu", rekla je ova 30-godišnja domaćica.
