Ipak, pamučne i kiruške maske zadržavaju kapljice te ih trebaju koristiti bolesne osobe kako bi se ograničio domet kapljica koje nastaju prilikom kihanja, kašljanja i govora, a kojima se najčešće širi virus, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
 
Maske izrađene od papirnatog materijala možete sami sterilizirati u loncu za kuhanje na paru ili parom iz glačala, kaže slovenski mikrobiolog dr. Gorazd Pretnar iz Nacionalnog laboratorija za zdravlje, okoliš i hranu (NLZOH), pri čemu ističe da bi se zaštitnim maskama, koje su danas uglavnom predviđene za jednokratnu upotrebu, moglo gospodariti mnogo ekonomičnije.
"Nakon upotrebe bi ih trebalo sakupljati u posebnu plastičnu vrećicu i zatim sterilizirati - bilo da se koriste u radnom okruženju, zdravstvu ili kod kuće. To već radimo u našem institutu i steriliziramo ih u autoklavu - parnom sterilizatoru."

Parilica iznad vode

Pretnar objašnjava da se maske od papira mogu sterilizirati i kod kuće u loncu:
"Ulijte u njega oko dva centimetra vode, a zatim stavite parilicu za povrće iznad vode. Ako nemate ovaj spremnik, možete upotrijebiti metalnu rešetku i staviti je iznad pare i na nju maske umotane u ambalažni papir - jedan, dva ili tri komada.
Pokrijte poklopcem i stavite ga na vatru. Kad počne ključati, vodu treba kuhati približno 20 minuta."
Dr. Pretnar savjetuje kako se oni koji nemaju zaštitne maske ipak mogu pomoći šalom ili debelom pamučnom krpom.
"Idete li u trgovinu, idite s maskom i nosite je cijelo vrijeme!", naglašava znanstvenik, koji na društvenim mrežama aktivno propagira njihovo korištenje.

Pretnar ističe da je sterilizacija vrlo jednostavan proces, koji zna svaki nastavnik biologije.
Postoji još jedan postupak sterilizacije maske od papirnog materijala, napominje. Ona se može sterilizirati i glačalom na paru:
"Masku prekrijte pamučnom krpom i prepeglajte je. Pazite samo da ne glačate trake koje su napravljene od drugog materijala," savjetuje dr. Pretnar,  a donosi Slobodna Dalmacija. Ipak, pamučne i kiruške maske zadržavaju kapljice te ih trebaju koristiti bolesne osobe kako bi se ograničio domet kapljica koje nastaju prilikom kihanja, kašljanja i govora, a kojima se najčešće širi virus, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
 
Maske izrađene od papirnatog materijala možete sami sterilizirati u loncu za kuhanje na paru ili parom iz glačala, kaže slovenski mikrobiolog dr. Gorazd Pretnar iz Nacionalnog laboratorija za zdravlje, okoliš i hranu (NLZOH), pri čemu ističe da bi se zaštitnim maskama, koje su danas uglavnom predviđene za jednokratnu upotrebu, moglo gospodariti mnogo ekonomičnije.
"Nakon upotrebe bi ih trebalo sakupljati u posebnu plastičnu vrećicu i zatim sterilizirati - bilo da se koriste u radnom okruženju, zdravstvu ili kod kuće. To već radimo u našem institutu i steriliziramo ih u autoklavu - parnom sterilizatoru."

Parilica iznad vode

Pretnar objašnjava da se maske od papira mogu sterilizirati i kod kuće u loncu:
"Ulijte u njega oko dva centimetra vode, a zatim stavite parilicu za povrće iznad vode. Ako nemate ovaj spremnik, možete upotrijebiti metalnu rešetku i staviti je iznad pare i na nju maske umotane u ambalažni papir - jedan, dva ili tri komada.
Pokrijte poklopcem i stavite ga na vatru. Kad počne ključati, vodu treba kuhati približno 20 minuta."
Dr. Pretnar savjetuje kako se oni koji nemaju zaštitne maske ipak mogu pomoći šalom ili debelom pamučnom krpom.
"Idete li u trgovinu, idite s maskom i nosite je cijelo vrijeme!", naglašava znanstvenik, koji na društvenim mrežama aktivno propagira njihovo korištenje.

Pretnar ističe da je sterilizacija vrlo jednostavan proces, koji zna svaki nastavnik biologije.
Postoji još jedan postupak sterilizacije maske od papirnog materijala, napominje. Ona se može sterilizirati i glačalom na paru:
"Masku prekrijte pamučnom krpom i prepeglajte je. Pazite samo da ne glačate trake koje su napravljene od drugog materijala," savjetuje dr. Pretnar,  a donosi Slobodna Dalmacija. Ipak, pamučne i kiruške maske zadržavaju kapljice te ih trebaju koristiti bolesne osobe kako bi se ograničio domet kapljica koje nastaju prilikom kihanja, kašljanja i govora, a kojima se najčešće širi virus, donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
 
Maske izrađene od papirnatog materijala možete sami sterilizirati u loncu za kuhanje na paru ili parom iz glačala, kaže slovenski mikrobiolog dr. Gorazd Pretnar iz Nacionalnog laboratorija za zdravlje, okoliš i hranu (NLZOH), pri čemu ističe da bi se zaštitnim maskama, koje su danas uglavnom predviđene za jednokratnu upotrebu, moglo gospodariti mnogo ekonomičnije.
"Nakon upotrebe bi ih trebalo sakupljati u posebnu plastičnu vrećicu i zatim sterilizirati - bilo da se koriste u radnom okruženju, zdravstvu ili kod kuće. To već radimo u našem institutu i steriliziramo ih u autoklavu - parnom sterilizatoru."

Parilica iznad vode

Pretnar objašnjava da se maske od papira mogu sterilizirati i kod kuće u loncu:
"Ulijte u njega oko dva centimetra vode, a zatim stavite parilicu za povrće iznad vode. Ako nemate ovaj spremnik, možete upotrijebiti metalnu rešetku i staviti je iznad pare i na nju maske umotane u ambalažni papir - jedan, dva ili tri komada.
Pokrijte poklopcem i stavite ga na vatru. Kad počne ključati, vodu treba kuhati približno 20 minuta."
Dr. Pretnar savjetuje kako se oni koji nemaju zaštitne maske ipak mogu pomoći šalom ili debelom pamučnom krpom.
"Idete li u trgovinu, idite s maskom i nosite je cijelo vrijeme!", naglašava znanstvenik, koji na društvenim mrežama aktivno propagira njihovo korištenje.

Pretnar ističe da je sterilizacija vrlo jednostavan proces, koji zna svaki nastavnik biologije.
Postoji još jedan postupak sterilizacije maske od papirnog materijala, napominje. Ona se može sterilizirati i glačalom na paru:
"Masku prekrijte pamučnom krpom i prepeglajte je. Pazite samo da ne glačate trake koje su napravljene od drugog materijala," savjetuje dr. Pretnar,  a donosi Slobodna Dalmacija.
