Na današnji dan prije 31 godinu, 9. studenog 1991. godine, u obrani Bosanke život je izgubilo šest dubrovačkih branitelja. Poginuli su pripadnici ZNG-e Hamdija Kovač i Vedran Ivošević, Antonio Vatović kao pripadnik specijalne postrojbe MUP-a, Mario Pezzi kao pripadnik HV-e, pripadnik HRM-e Franci Lazibat i pripadnik djelatnog sastava MUP-a Željko Raguž. Istog dana smrtno su stradali i civili Niko Čupić iz Vodovađe, Antun Lang iz Dubrovnika, Luce Spremić iz Vitaljine te Marin Lučić iz Zagrude.

Studeni 1991. na dubrovačkom je području bio posebno tegoban, najuže gradsko područje bilo je pod stalnim napadima.

Od 7. do 15. studenoga tzv. JNA sa svojim snagama, TO Herceg Novi i Odred granične milicije Boka izvodili su napade kojima su, uz potporu artiljerije, mornarice i zrakoplovnih snaga, nastojali ovladati visovima iznad Grada, podsjećaju na stranici Muzeja Domovinskog rata u prisjećanju na 9. studenog 1991.

U zapovijedi koju je za taj dan izdao komandant 9. Vojno-pomorskog sektora admiral Miodrag Jokić navodi se: “ovladati širim rejonom Dubrave i Rijeke Dubrovačke, izbiti na liniju Žarkovica – Srđ – Strinčijera – Gradci – Komolac – Rijeka Dubrovačka i uspostaviti potpunu blokadu Dubrovnika s kopna i mora i primorati neprijatelja na predaju.

Radi iznimne težine stanja u kome se našla obrana Grada, predsjednik RH dr. Franjo Tuđman izdao je, istoga toga dana, 9. studenoga Naredbu o općoj mobilizaciji na dubrovačkom području, a Dubrovnik je radi svoje sigurnosti odlučila napustiti i europska promatračka misija. U teškim bojevima agresor je uspio zauzeti Bosanku, nanoseći dubrovačkim braniteljima velike i bolne ljudske gubitke.

Na današnji dan prije 31 godinu, 9. studenog 1991. godine, u obrani Bosanke život je izgubilo šest dubrovačkih branitelja. Poginuli su pripadnici ZNG-e Hamdija Kovač i Vedran Ivošević, Antonio Vatović kao pripadnik specijalne postrojbe MUP-a, Mario Pezzi kao pripadnik HV-e, pripadnik HRM-e Franci Lazibat i pripadnik djelatnog sastava MUP-a Željko Raguž. Istog dana smrtno su stradali i civili Niko Čupić iz Vodovađe, Antun Lang iz Dubrovnika, Luce Spremić iz Vitaljine te Marin Lučić iz Zagrude.

Studeni 1991. na dubrovačkom je području bio posebno tegoban, najuže gradsko područje bilo je pod stalnim napadima.

Od 7. do 15. studenoga tzv. JNA sa svojim snagama, TO Herceg Novi i Odred granične milicije Boka izvodili su napade kojima su, uz potporu artiljerije, mornarice i zrakoplovnih snaga, nastojali ovladati visovima iznad Grada, podsjećaju na stranici Muzeja Domovinskog rata u prisjećanju na 9. studenog 1991.

U zapovijedi koju je za taj dan izdao komandant 9. Vojno-pomorskog sektora admiral Miodrag Jokić navodi se: “ovladati širim rejonom Dubrave i Rijeke Dubrovačke, izbiti na liniju Žarkovica – Srđ – Strinčijera – Gradci – Komolac – Rijeka Dubrovačka i uspostaviti potpunu blokadu Dubrovnika s kopna i mora i primorati neprijatelja na predaju.

Radi iznimne težine stanja u kome se našla obrana Grada, predsjednik RH dr. Franjo Tuđman izdao je, istoga toga dana, 9. studenoga Naredbu o općoj mobilizaciji na dubrovačkom području, a Dubrovnik je radi svoje sigurnosti odlučila napustiti i europska promatračka misija. U teškim bojevima agresor je uspio zauzeti Bosanku, nanoseći dubrovačkim braniteljima velike i bolne ljudske gubitke.

Na današnji dan prije 31 godinu, 9. studenog 1991. godine, u obrani Bosanke život je izgubilo šest dubrovačkih branitelja. Poginuli su pripadnici ZNG-e Hamdija Kovač i Vedran Ivošević, Antonio Vatović kao pripadnik specijalne postrojbe MUP-a, Mario Pezzi kao pripadnik HV-e, pripadnik HRM-e Franci Lazibat i pripadnik djelatnog sastava MUP-a Željko Raguž. Istog dana smrtno su stradali i civili Niko Čupić iz Vodovađe, Antun Lang iz Dubrovnika, Luce Spremić iz Vitaljine te Marin Lučić iz Zagrude.

Studeni 1991. na dubrovačkom je području bio posebno tegoban, najuže gradsko područje bilo je pod stalnim napadima.

Od 7. do 15. studenoga tzv. JNA sa svojim snagama, TO Herceg Novi i Odred granične milicije Boka izvodili su napade kojima su, uz potporu artiljerije, mornarice i zrakoplovnih snaga, nastojali ovladati visovima iznad Grada, podsjećaju na stranici Muzeja Domovinskog rata u prisjećanju na 9. studenog 1991.

U zapovijedi koju je za taj dan izdao komandant 9. Vojno-pomorskog sektora admiral Miodrag Jokić navodi se: “ovladati širim rejonom Dubrave i Rijeke Dubrovačke, izbiti na liniju Žarkovica – Srđ – Strinčijera – Gradci – Komolac – Rijeka Dubrovačka i uspostaviti potpunu blokadu Dubrovnika s kopna i mora i primorati neprijatelja na predaju.

Radi iznimne težine stanja u kome se našla obrana Grada, predsjednik RH dr. Franjo Tuđman izdao je, istoga toga dana, 9. studenoga Naredbu o općoj mobilizaciji na dubrovačkom području, a Dubrovnik je radi svoje sigurnosti odlučila napustiti i europska promatračka misija. U teškim bojevima agresor je uspio zauzeti Bosanku, nanoseći dubrovačkim braniteljima velike i bolne ljudske gubitke.
