Imam plastičnu brodicu te na kabini želim proširiti prozore i ugraditi postolja za još neku opremu. Pleksiglas sam pripremio, ali se još dvoumim jer je jedan moj kolega na svojoj brodici uradio slične radove, a onda je nakon par sezona uz neke vijke počelo curiti. Malo sam se o ovome raspitivao i shvatio da on nije jedini koji ima ovaj problem. Prvih par sezona sve je u redu, a zatim se uz neke rupe počnu pojavljivati kapljice, uglavnom nakon pljuska. Možete li mi dati kakav savjet?

Naizgled banalno pitanje, međutim, obratite pažnju na koliko je brodica oko stakala ili fineštrina naknadno nanesen nekakav silikon ili zalijepljena traka. Svi oni imaju isti problem. Na manjim brodicama to je lakše uočljivo, ali na većim jahtama pronalazak mjesta curenja može biti dosta kompliciran.

Znam za slučaj na jednoj većoj motornoj jahti gdje se nakon svake obilnije oborine u kutu komandnog mosta pojavljivala pristojna lokva, a ponekad se to događalo i nakon plovidbe, bez obzira na to što danima ranije nije bilo kiše.

Naime, na nekoj od rupa na flybridgeu brtvilo je oslabilo i u prostoru između poda i kontraštampe svoda kabine skupljala se voda. Instrumentom za mjerenje vlage pronašli smo lokvu i probili rupu iz koje je iscurilo više od pola bujola vode.

Problem je riješen tako da je s flybridgea sva oprema pričvršćena vijcima skinuta, rupe očišćene i kasnije kod vraćanja opreme sve ponovno zabrtvljeno.

Potporna ploča

Kod postavljanja stakala, prvo pripazite da vam rupe budu točno označene i pravilno probijene. Na pozicijama gdje namjeravate ugraditi postolja neke opreme bilo bi dobro da predvidite potpornu ploču od metala ili drva, pa čak i preko drva nanijeti koji laminat plastike.

Potporna ploča će ukrutiti mjesto spoja i opterećenje rasporediti na veću površinu, što nije zanemarivo jer oprema na tim postoljima je poluga s određenom masom izložena čestim vibracijama. Naravno, kod probijanja rupe provjerite da slučajno ne oštetite i neke ranije ugrađene instalacije.

Na označenom mjestu bušenja šilom ili nekim sličnim ručnim alatom učinite malo udubljenje kako bi se kod početka bušenja vrh svrdla zadržao u toj poziciji. Nikako to ne radite udarajući točkalo ili neki drugi oštar predmet, jer lako možete oštetiti okolni gelcoat. Potrudite se da rupa bude okomita u odnosu na površinu koju bušite, tako da vijak kasnije ne zateže ni u jednu stranu.

Ovdje možete koristiti jedan stari trik. Na manjoj ravnoj daščici sa strane olovkom ucrtajte okomicu, daščicu stavite na površinu koju bušite, prislonite je uz svrdlo, a kut svrdla poravnajte s tom crtom. Rupu prvo probijte manjim svrdlom, a kasnije je većim proširite na potreban promjer. Široke rupe ne činite probijajući niz manjih rupa po obrubu, već koristite krunu za bušenje.

Plastika je kompozit od više laminata i kod bušenja nije dobro koristiti veliku silu, već uz lagani pritisak pustite da svrdlo to samo odradi. Naravno, ono mora bit oštro.

Obradite rubove

Dobro je i brusnim papirom obraditi rub gelcoata oko rupe, jer uslijed vibracija gelcoat naslonjen na vijak može raspucati. Vibracije mogu uzrokovati i odvijanje nekih matica pa je dobro koristiti sigurnosne matice, one s plastičnim prstenom na vrhu. Naravno, ispod svake matice ide i šajba, podloška, odgovarajućih dimenzija.

Kada je sve ovo pripremljeno, na red dolazi masa za brtvljenje, naravno, ona predviđena za brodske uvjete. Promjenama temperature različiti materijali se različito skupljaju i šire, ali brtva ima svoju elastičnost koja to kompenzira.

Međutim, elastičnost se s vremenom smanjuje i opterećenja na spoju s brtvljenim površinama sve su veća, pa s vremenom negdje taj spoj može i popustiti. Kako bi se to izbjeglo, na površine za brtvljenje potrebno je nanijeti odgovarajući prajmer, a to neki zanemare, što je osnovni razlog problema koje ste naveli.

Vijke ne pritežite snažno, nego tek toliko da se brtvilo ravnomjerno samo prilijepi uz obje stijenke. Sutra ili prekosutra ih dotegnite, ali ni tada ne pretjerujte sa zatezanjem.

Imam plastičnu brodicu te na kabini želim proširiti prozore i ugraditi postolja za još neku opremu. Pleksiglas sam pripremio, ali se još dvoumim jer je jedan moj kolega na svojoj brodici uradio slične radove, a onda je nakon par sezona uz neke vijke počelo curiti. Malo sam se o ovome raspitivao i shvatio da on nije jedini koji ima ovaj problem. Prvih par sezona sve je u redu, a zatim se uz neke rupe počnu pojavljivati kapljice, uglavnom nakon pljuska. Možete li mi dati kakav savjet?

Naizgled banalno pitanje, međutim, obratite pažnju na koliko je brodica oko stakala ili fineštrina naknadno nanesen nekakav silikon ili zalijepljena traka. Svi oni imaju isti problem. Na manjim brodicama to je lakše uočljivo, ali na većim jahtama pronalazak mjesta curenja može biti dosta kompliciran.

Znam za slučaj na jednoj većoj motornoj jahti gdje se nakon svake obilnije oborine u kutu komandnog mosta pojavljivala pristojna lokva, a ponekad se to događalo i nakon plovidbe, bez obzira na to što danima ranije nije bilo kiše.

Naime, na nekoj od rupa na flybridgeu brtvilo je oslabilo i u prostoru između poda i kontraštampe svoda kabine skupljala se voda. Instrumentom za mjerenje vlage pronašli smo lokvu i probili rupu iz koje je iscurilo više od pola bujola vode.

Problem je riješen tako da je s flybridgea sva oprema pričvršćena vijcima skinuta, rupe očišćene i kasnije kod vraćanja opreme sve ponovno zabrtvljeno.

Potporna ploča

Kod postavljanja stakala, prvo pripazite da vam rupe budu točno označene i pravilno probijene. Na pozicijama gdje namjeravate ugraditi postolja neke opreme bilo bi dobro da predvidite potpornu ploču od metala ili drva, pa čak i preko drva nanijeti koji laminat plastike.

Potporna ploča će ukrutiti mjesto spoja i opterećenje rasporediti na veću površinu, što nije zanemarivo jer oprema na tim postoljima je poluga s određenom masom izložena čestim vibracijama. Naravno, kod probijanja rupe provjerite da slučajno ne oštetite i neke ranije ugrađene instalacije.

Na označenom mjestu bušenja šilom ili nekim sličnim ručnim alatom učinite malo udubljenje kako bi se kod početka bušenja vrh svrdla zadržao u toj poziciji. Nikako to ne radite udarajući točkalo ili neki drugi oštar predmet, jer lako možete oštetiti okolni gelcoat. Potrudite se da rupa bude okomita u odnosu na površinu koju bušite, tako da vijak kasnije ne zateže ni u jednu stranu.

Ovdje možete koristiti jedan stari trik. Na manjoj ravnoj daščici sa strane olovkom ucrtajte okomicu, daščicu stavite na površinu koju bušite, prislonite je uz svrdlo, a kut svrdla poravnajte s tom crtom. Rupu prvo probijte manjim svrdlom, a kasnije je većim proširite na potreban promjer. Široke rupe ne činite probijajući niz manjih rupa po obrubu, već koristite krunu za bušenje.

Plastika je kompozit od više laminata i kod bušenja nije dobro koristiti veliku silu, već uz lagani pritisak pustite da svrdlo to samo odradi. Naravno, ono mora bit oštro.

Obradite rubove

Dobro je i brusnim papirom obraditi rub gelcoata oko rupe, jer uslijed vibracija gelcoat naslonjen na vijak može raspucati. Vibracije mogu uzrokovati i odvijanje nekih matica pa je dobro koristiti sigurnosne matice, one s plastičnim prstenom na vrhu. Naravno, ispod svake matice ide i šajba, podloška, odgovarajućih dimenzija.

Kada je sve ovo pripremljeno, na red dolazi masa za brtvljenje, naravno, ona predviđena za brodske uvjete. Promjenama temperature različiti materijali se različito skupljaju i šire, ali brtva ima svoju elastičnost koja to kompenzira.

Međutim, elastičnost se s vremenom smanjuje i opterećenja na spoju s brtvljenim površinama sve su veća, pa s vremenom negdje taj spoj može i popustiti. Kako bi se to izbjeglo, na površine za brtvljenje potrebno je nanijeti odgovarajući prajmer, a to neki zanemare, što je osnovni razlog problema koje ste naveli.

Vijke ne pritežite snažno, nego tek toliko da se brtvilo ravnomjerno samo prilijepi uz obje stijenke. Sutra ili prekosutra ih dotegnite, ali ni tada ne pretjerujte sa zatezanjem.
