Premijerna regata European Sailing Series u klasi Melges 24, na kojoj će nastupiti trideset posada iz sedam zemalja, održava se od 1. do 3. travnja u Rovinju.

ACI Rovinj ljubiteljima jedrenja poznata je kao mjesto u kojem su proteklih godina održane brojne vrhunske regate. Devet izdanja ACI Match Race Cupa, tri RC44 regate i ClubSwan36 regata pretvorile su grad podno Svete Eufemije u respektabilnu jedriličarsku destinaciju.

Novi jedriličarski spektakl u Rovinju je premijerna regata European Sailing Series u klasi Melges 24 koja će se održati uz partnerstvo specijalne bolnice Medico, OneSailsa, EmergenSea i Sailing Pointa te podršku JK Maestral i ACI-ja.

S 30 prijavljenih brodova iz sedam zemalja (Hrvatska, Austrija, Italija, Mađarska, Njemačka, Slovenija, Velika Britanija) i mnogim proslavljenim jedriličarskim imenima ovo će biti jedna od najvećih 'one design' regata ikada održanih u Hrvatskoj.

Melges 24 jedan je od najpopularnijih svjetskih monotipova koji je proizveden u više od 900 primjeraka, a u Hrvatskoj je pravu renesansu doživio u proteklih godinu dana. S preko 20 ovih sportskih jurilica naša zemlja ima trenutačno treću najbrojniju flotu u svijetu, a upravo ta činjenica bila je presudna kod domaćinstva premijerne regate European Sailing Series.

“U manje od godinu dana Melges 24 u Hrvatskoj je postao najbrojnija i najjača jedriličarska serija koja je okupila najbolje od najboljih u hrvatskom jedrenju. Jako nam je drago što je naša vizija rezultirala domaćinstvom ovakve prestižne regate, a nadamo se da će Hrvatska u budućnosti imati priliku organizirati još ovakvih regata koje na najbolji način promoviraju naše more i vrhunski sport”, ponosno je rekao hrvatski jedriličar Filip Jurišić koji obnaša dužnost predsjednika hrvatskog udruženja klase Melges 24.

U Rovinj dolazi krema svjetskog jedrenja, a među brojnim velikim imenima ističu se sudionik America’s Cupa Karlo Kuret, trostruki europski prvak Ivan Kljaković Gašpić, jedan od najboljih svjetskih match race jedriličara Tomislav Bašić, sudionik brojnih vrhunskih regata Stjepan Vitaljić…

CRO Melges 24 Cup jedrio se prije dva tjedna u Opatiji

„Rovinj je lijepa morska pozornica za ovakve vrhunske regate. Ovdje sam nekoliko puta jedrio na ACI Match Race Cupu i regatama u klasi RC44 tako da imam prekrasne uspomene na Istru. Hrvatski ‘boom’ Melgesa jako je odjeknuo na europskoj i svjetskoj sceni, tako da je lijepo kod nas vidjeti ovakav velik broj brodova“, istaknuo je Tomislav Bašić, svjetski prvak u ClubSwanu 50 i taktičar na brodu Panjić koji je lani bio ukupni pobjednik CRO Melges 24 serije.

Rovinj je četvrta stanica hrvatske jedriličarske prvaka koja se ove godine sastoji od sedam regata. U Dubrovniku i Opatiji slavio je Melges Panjić s kormilarem Lukom Šangulinom, a u Opatiji je pobjednik bio Ivan Kljaković Gašpić za kormilom Melgesa Universitas Nova.

Na regatnom polju ispred Rovinja hrvatski će jedriličari prvi put na Jadranu zajedriti protiv nekih od najboljih svjetskih posada u Melgesu 24. Među njima je i aktualni pobjednik European Sailing Seriesa, talijanska posada Melgina.

Regata u Rovinju traje od petka do nedjelje, a u planu je održati devet jedrenja.

Premijerna regata European Sailing Series u klasi Melges 24, na kojoj će nastupiti trideset posada iz sedam zemalja, održava se od 1. do 3. travnja u Rovinju.

ACI Rovinj ljubiteljima jedrenja poznata je kao mjesto u kojem su proteklih godina održane brojne vrhunske regate. Devet izdanja ACI Match Race Cupa, tri RC44 regate i ClubSwan36 regata pretvorile su grad podno Svete Eufemije u respektabilnu jedriličarsku destinaciju.

Novi jedriličarski spektakl u Rovinju je premijerna regata European Sailing Series u klasi Melges 24 koja će se održati uz partnerstvo specijalne bolnice Medico, OneSailsa, EmergenSea i Sailing Pointa te podršku JK Maestral i ACI-ja.

S 30 prijavljenih brodova iz sedam zemalja (Hrvatska, Austrija, Italija, Mađarska, Njemačka, Slovenija, Velika Britanija) i mnogim proslavljenim jedriličarskim imenima ovo će biti jedna od najvećih 'one design' regata ikada održanih u Hrvatskoj.

Melges 24 jedan je od najpopularnijih svjetskih monotipova koji je proizveden u više od 900 primjeraka, a u Hrvatskoj je pravu renesansu doživio u proteklih godinu dana. S preko 20 ovih sportskih jurilica naša zemlja ima trenutačno treću najbrojniju flotu u svijetu, a upravo ta činjenica bila je presudna kod domaćinstva premijerne regate European Sailing Series.

“U manje od godinu dana Melges 24 u Hrvatskoj je postao najbrojnija i najjača jedriličarska serija koja je okupila najbolje od najboljih u hrvatskom jedrenju. Jako nam je drago što je naša vizija rezultirala domaćinstvom ovakve prestižne regate, a nadamo se da će Hrvatska u budućnosti imati priliku organizirati još ovakvih regata koje na najbolji način promoviraju naše more i vrhunski sport”, ponosno je rekao hrvatski jedriličar Filip Jurišić koji obnaša dužnost predsjednika hrvatskog udruženja klase Melges 24.

U Rovinj dolazi krema svjetskog jedrenja, a među brojnim velikim imenima ističu se sudionik America’s Cupa Karlo Kuret, trostruki europski prvak Ivan Kljaković Gašpić, jedan od najboljih svjetskih match race jedriličara Tomislav Bašić, sudionik brojnih vrhunskih regata Stjepan Vitaljić…

„Rovinj je lijepa morska pozornica za ovakve vrhunske regate. Ovdje sam nekoliko puta jedrio na ACI Match Race Cupu i regatama u klasi RC44 tako da imam prekrasne uspomene na Istru. Hrvatski ‘boom’ Melgesa jako je odjeknuo na europskoj i svjetskoj sceni, tako da je lijepo kod nas vidjeti ovakav velik broj brodova“, istaknuo je Tomislav Bašić, svjetski prvak u ClubSwanu 50 i taktičar na brodu Panjić koji je lani bio ukupni pobjednik CRO Melges 24 serije.

Rovinj je četvrta stanica hrvatske jedriličarske prvaka koja se ove godine sastoji od sedam regata. U Dubrovniku i Opatiji slavio je Melges Panjić s kormilarem Lukom Šangulinom, a u Opatiji je pobjednik bio Ivan Kljaković Gašpić za kormilom Melgesa Universitas Nova.

Na regatnom polju ispred Rovinja hrvatski će jedriličari prvi put na Jadranu zajedriti protiv nekih od najboljih svjetskih posada u Melgesu 24. Među njima je i aktualni pobjednik European Sailing Seriesa, talijanska posada Melgina.

Regata u Rovinju traje od petka do nedjelje, a u planu je održati devet jedrenja.
