Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) uskoro bi mogao ponovno oboriti rekorde na vrhu ljestvice najvećih brodara, prema novoj analizi danske konzultantske tvrtke Sea-Intelligence.

Početkom 2022. godine MSC je postao najveći brodar na svijetu po kapacitetu kontejnerskih brodova, kada je prestigao svog danskog partnera iz 2M saveza Maerska, koji je bio na vrhu ljestvice više od četvrt stoljeća. Od tada, MSC je u procesu velike ekspanzije flote – osim rabljenih plovila, preuzeli su i rekordan broj novogradnji, čime je MSC povećao prednost u odnosu na Maersk na 1,55 milijuna TEU jedinica.

Kako prenosi Splash247, Sea-Intelligence objavio je svoja predviđanja o tome kako će ljestvica top 10 najvećih brodara izgledati za dvije godine, uzimajući u obzir mnoge aspekte, uključujući knjige narudžbi, dosadašnje poteze vezane uz čarter plovila, kao i prodaju rabljenih brodova.

“MSC će značajno povećati svoju prednost u usporedbi s drugim najvećim brodarom – koji će u sljedeće dvije godine postati CMA CGM, čime će Maersk pasti na treće mjesto najvećih brodara na svijetu”, navodi Sea-Intelligence u svom posljednjem tjednom izvješću u kojem se predviđaju veličinu flote u travnju 2026. godine.

MSC je u svibnju prošle godine postao prvi brodar na svijetu s flotom većom od 5 milijuna TEU. Predviđa se da će do travnja 2026. imati flotu od preko 7 milijuna TEU. Valja napomenuti da će MSC od početka sljedeće godine samostalno pružati usluge na glavnim rutama između istoka i zapada, pošto savez 2M s Maerskom prestaje u siječnju 2025. godine.

MSC u posljednjih nekoliko godina ulaže u mnoge industrije izvan svojih osnovnih djelatnosti u kontejnerskom sektoru i sektoru krstarenja, uključujući zračni prijevoz, željeznicu, medije i logistiku. Prošli je tjedan MSC dao ponudu za preuzimanje Gram Car Carriers od 700 milijuna dolara.

Analitičari Sea-Intelligencea također su istaknuli da će se njemački Hapag-Lloyd morati pomučiti ako želi zadržati poziciju od japanskog Ocean Network Expressa (ONE) u sljedećih nekoliko godina. Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) uskoro bi mogao ponovno oboriti rekorde na vrhu ljestvice najvećih brodara, prema novoj analizi danske konzultantske tvrtke Sea-Intelligence.

Početkom 2022. godine MSC je postao najveći brodar na svijetu po kapacitetu kontejnerskih brodova, kada je prestigao svog danskog partnera iz 2M saveza Maerska, koji je bio na vrhu ljestvice više od četvrt stoljeća. Od tada, MSC je u procesu velike ekspanzije flote – osim rabljenih plovila, preuzeli su i rekordan broj novogradnji, čime je MSC povećao prednost u odnosu na Maersk na 1,55 milijuna TEU jedinica.

Kako prenosi Splash247, Sea-Intelligence objavio je svoja predviđanja o tome kako će ljestvica top 10 najvećih brodara izgledati za dvije godine, uzimajući u obzir mnoge aspekte, uključujući knjige narudžbi, dosadašnje poteze vezane uz čarter plovila, kao i prodaju rabljenih brodova.

“MSC će značajno povećati svoju prednost u usporedbi s drugim najvećim brodarom – koji će u sljedeće dvije godine postati CMA CGM, čime će Maersk pasti na treće mjesto najvećih brodara na svijetu”, navodi Sea-Intelligence u svom posljednjem tjednom izvješću u kojem se predviđaju veličinu flote u travnju 2026. godine.

MSC je u svibnju prošle godine postao prvi brodar na svijetu s flotom većom od 5 milijuna TEU. Predviđa se da će do travnja 2026. imati flotu od preko 7 milijuna TEU. Valja napomenuti da će MSC od početka sljedeće godine samostalno pružati usluge na glavnim rutama između istoka i zapada, pošto savez 2M s Maerskom prestaje u siječnju 2025. godine.

MSC u posljednjih nekoliko godina ulaže u mnoge industrije izvan svojih osnovnih djelatnosti u kontejnerskom sektoru i sektoru krstarenja, uključujući zračni prijevoz, željeznicu, medije i logistiku. Prošli je tjedan MSC dao ponudu za preuzimanje Gram Car Carriers od 700 milijuna dolara.

Analitičari Sea-Intelligencea također su istaknuli da će se njemački Hapag-Lloyd morati pomučiti ako želi zadržati poziciju od japanskog Ocean Network Expressa (ONE) u sljedećih nekoliko godina.
