Kada nešto voliš, primjerice jedrenje, nije problem boraviti satima na otvorenom, po svakakvim vremenskim uvjetima, preskočiti izlaske s prijateljima, izbivati od kuće danima zbog kakvog prvenstva... Jedrenje naprosto obožava Ema Grabar, 15-godišnja članica JK Uljanik iz Pule koja proteklih godina puni medijske stupce, a i vitrine svog kluba. Nedavno je osvojila brončanu medalju na Svjetskom prvenstvu u klasi optimist u Costa Bravi u Španjolskoj, a u Splitu je suvereno osvojila naslov državne prvakinje u najmanjoj klasi na prvenstvu u organizaciji JK Mornar. Lani je na Europskom prvenstvu u Danskoj bila najbolja hrvatska jedriličarka, a u svojoj sedmogodišnjoj jedriličarskoj karijeri ima toga ohoho za pohvaliti se.

No, Ema je prilično skromna cura. Jedrenje istinski voli i živi punim plućima.

– Lijepo je biti na moru, uživati u prirodi. Sam moraš donositi odluke, osamostališ se na moru, a svaki dan je novi izazov i nešto novo naučiš, pokušavaš usavršiti neke vještine... Svaki dan je drukčiji. Jedrim tijekom cijele godine, no ljeti mi je ipak najdraže jer imam slobodnog vremena za more – veli nam Ema, inače učenica prvog razreda Strukovne škole u Puli.

Jasni ciljevi

Nije jednostavno uskladiti školske i sportske obveze, posebice kad ste ozbiljan sportaš kao ona, no njoj ništa ne pada teško. Vlada sjajno organizacijom svog života i uživa. U školi joj izlaze ususret kada ide na pripreme i natjecanja, a ona se trudi opravdati povjerenje. I uspijeva.

–​ Ema i kolega joj Edi Jurman stigli su sa mnom na Bunarinu iz Medulina 2019. godine. Užitak je raditi s takvim mladim sportašima. Ema je jako predana, studiozna, ozbiljna cura koja je ušla u jedrenje s jasnim ciljevima. Uvijek kažem da takve sportaše mi ne stvaramo, oni se sami pojave kao takvi, a naše iskustvo i znanje im samo pomogne da se realiziraju u pravom svjetlu. Nakon ove svjetske bronce koja je zaista velik uspjeh, Emin entuzijazam nije splasnuo. Ide ona dalje. Nisam imao takvih sportaša do sada – kaže nam Emin trener Dario Kliba, hvaleći volju mladih u klubu, njih petnaestak u klasi optimist, koji ni za vrijeme korone nisu propuštali treninge.

Pod njegovim mentorstvom, Ema i prijatelji iz kluba jedre u pulskom akvatoriju svakog vikenda. Tijekom radnog dijela tjedna treninge na suhom odrađuju dva do tri puta, a isto toliko su na moru, kada vrijeme dopusti.

– Svaki vikend jedrim, a preko tjedna radim kondiciju u teretani. Nekad je teško uskladiti sve obveze u školi, kod kuće, u jedrenju, ali se može. Ustajem u 7 ujutro i stignem obaviti sve što sam planirala taj dan. Sada radim na kondiciji, a polako se pripremam za Županijsko prvenstvo, a potom i za Svjetsko koje će se održati u prosincu u Argentini. Nadam se da ću upasti u konkurenciju – otkriva nam svoje planove Ema, koja je u jedrenje ušla gotovo slučajno: na nagovor sestrične čije treninge je često znala posjećivati. Sestrična je u međuvremenu odustala od sporta, a Ema mu se potpuno predala.

Roditelji su kupili brod

Jedri u vlastitom optimistu jer kako to obično biva, klubovi nemaju sredstava za financiranje potrebne opreme za reprezentativce, pa nerijetko roditelji moraju participirati kao sponzori, što je zapravo velika kritika za sve strukture koje se bave sportom, djecom i mladima u koje treba sustavno ulagati.

Društvene mreže

Ipak, ekipa iz JK Uljanik se ne žali. Uvjeti za treniranje su dobri, klub ima hangar, a pulski akvatorij sjajan je za jedrenje. Klasa optimist i dalje prihvaća​ nove generacije, a u klubu se trude osigurati im vrhunske trenere. I prenijeti tu ljubav prema moru.

– Kada vidim kako se Ema i njezine kolegice i kolege u klubu raduju svakom isplovljavanju, budem ponosan na njih. Današnje generacije mladih posvećene su mobitelima, društvenim mrežama koji su distrakcija svemu ostalom. Razbijaju im koncentraciju, a evo, mladi s kojima radim, poput Eme, čista su suprotnost takvom načinu odrastanja. Meni je u djetinjstvu barka bila sve, i iPhone i Instagram. Sretan sam što mogu dati dio sebe zdravom načinu razmišljanja ovim mladima oko sebe – ističe trener Kliba.

Pred Emom je još puno izazova. Kako je već fizički stasala, pitanje je do kada će moći jedriti u svojoj klasi. No, ona se ne zabrinjava oko toga. Veseli se i opciji da će jedriti u laserima, no o tom potom. U fokusu su sjeverne regate, pa svjetsko, a ostalo što dođe. No, u jedno je sigurna:

– Ma ja se i za 10 godina vidim također u jedrenju. Ne znam u kojem smjeru će to biti, ali jedrenje je moja ljubav – kategorično će pulska reprezentativka.

Kada nešto voliš, primjerice jedrenje, nije problem boraviti satima na otvorenom, po svakakvim vremenskim uvjetima, preskočiti izlaske s prijateljima, izbivati od kuće danima zbog kakvog prvenstva... Jedrenje naprosto obožava Ema Grabar, 15-godišnja članica JK Uljanik iz Pule koja proteklih godina puni medijske stupce, a i vitrine svog kluba. Nedavno je osvojila brončanu medalju na Svjetskom prvenstvu u klasi optimist u Costa Bravi u Španjolskoj, a u Splitu je suvereno osvojila naslov državne prvakinje u najmanjoj klasi na prvenstvu u organizaciji JK Mornar. Lani je na Europskom prvenstvu u Danskoj bila najbolja hrvatska jedriličarka, a u svojoj sedmogodišnjoj jedriličarskoj karijeri ima toga ohoho za pohvaliti se.

No, Ema je prilično skromna cura. Jedrenje istinski voli i živi punim plućima.

– Lijepo je biti na moru, uživati u prirodi. Sam moraš donositi odluke, osamostališ se na moru, a svaki dan je novi izazov i nešto novo naučiš, pokušavaš usavršiti neke vještine... Svaki dan je drukčiji. Jedrim tijekom cijele godine, no ljeti mi je ipak najdraže jer imam slobodnog vremena za more – veli nam Ema, inače učenica prvog razreda Strukovne škole u Puli.

Jasni ciljevi

Nije jednostavno uskladiti školske i sportske obveze, posebice kad ste ozbiljan sportaš kao ona, no njoj ništa ne pada teško. Vlada sjajno organizacijom svog života i uživa. U školi joj izlaze ususret kada ide na pripreme i natjecanja, a ona se trudi opravdati povjerenje. I uspijeva.

–​ Ema i kolega joj Edi Jurman stigli su sa mnom na Bunarinu iz Medulina 2019. godine. Užitak je raditi s takvim mladim sportašima. Ema je jako predana, studiozna, ozbiljna cura koja je ušla u jedrenje s jasnim ciljevima. Uvijek kažem da takve sportaše mi ne stvaramo, oni se sami pojave kao takvi, a naše iskustvo i znanje im samo pomogne da se realiziraju u pravom svjetlu. Nakon ove svjetske bronce koja je zaista velik uspjeh, Emin entuzijazam nije splasnuo. Ide ona dalje. Nisam imao takvih sportaša do sada – kaže nam Emin trener Dario Kliba, hvaleći volju mladih u klubu, njih petnaestak u klasi optimist, koji ni za vrijeme korone nisu propuštali treninge.

Pod njegovim mentorstvom, Ema i prijatelji iz kluba jedre u pulskom akvatoriju svakog vikenda. Tijekom radnog dijela tjedna treninge na suhom odrađuju dva do tri puta, a isto toliko su na moru, kada vrijeme dopusti.

– Svaki vikend jedrim, a preko tjedna radim kondiciju u teretani. Nekad je teško uskladiti sve obveze u školi, kod kuće, u jedrenju, ali se može. Ustajem u 7 ujutro i stignem obaviti sve što sam planirala taj dan. Sada radim na kondiciji, a polako se pripremam za Županijsko prvenstvo, a potom i za Svjetsko koje će se održati u prosincu u Argentini. Nadam se da ću upasti u konkurenciju – otkriva nam svoje planove Ema, koja je u jedrenje ušla gotovo slučajno: na nagovor sestrične čije treninge je često znala posjećivati. Sestrična je u međuvremenu odustala od sporta, a Ema mu se potpuno predala.

Jedri u vlastitom optimistu jer kako to obično biva, klubovi nemaju sredstava za financiranje potrebne opreme za reprezentativce, pa nerijetko roditelji moraju participirati kao sponzori, što je zapravo velika kritika za sve strukture koje se bave sportom, djecom i mladima u koje treba sustavno ulagati.

Društvene mreže

Ipak, ekipa iz JK Uljanik se ne žali. Uvjeti za treniranje su dobri, klub ima hangar, a pulski akvatorij sjajan je za jedrenje. Klasa optimist i dalje prihvaća​ nove generacije, a u klubu se trude osigurati im vrhunske trenere. I prenijeti tu ljubav prema moru.

– Kada vidim kako se Ema i njezine kolegice i kolege u klubu raduju svakom isplovljavanju, budem ponosan na njih. Današnje generacije mladih posvećene su mobitelima, društvenim mrežama koji su distrakcija svemu ostalom. Razbijaju im koncentraciju, a evo, mladi s kojima radim, poput Eme, čista su suprotnost takvom načinu odrastanja. Meni je u djetinjstvu barka bila sve, i iPhone i Instagram. Sretan sam što mogu dati dio sebe zdravom načinu razmišljanja ovim mladima oko sebe – ističe trener Kliba.

Pred Emom je još puno izazova. Kako je već fizički stasala, pitanje je do kada će moći jedriti u svojoj klasi. No, ona se ne zabrinjava oko toga. Veseli se i opciji da će jedriti u laserima, no o tom potom. U fokusu su sjeverne regate, pa svjetsko, a ostalo što dođe. No, u jedno je sigurna:

– Ma ja se i za 10 godina vidim također u jedrenju. Ne znam u kojem smjeru će to biti, ali jedrenje je moja ljubav – kategorično će pulska reprezentativka.
