Upravo ovih dana kada sam putovao trajektom na liniji Sućuraj – Drvenik, čitao sam na istaknutoj obavijesti za putnike da je naše Jadransko more Međunarodnom konvencijom MARPOL 73/78 svrstano u posebna ekološka područja u kojima je zabranjeno odlaganje otpadaka, primjerice plastike, sintetičkih mreža i užadi, plastičnih kesa, papira, krpa, stakla, metala, boca, ambalaže, itd.

Razgradnja pojedinih tvari može potrajati od nekoliko tjedana pa čak do 500 godina, a za staklo se ni ne zna koliko, pa se ljudima dobronamjerno sugerira da čuvaju more za sebe i buduće naraštaje prikupljanjem i odlaganjem smeća u lučke uređaje za prihvat otpada.

Pomislih, baš lijepo, djeluje edukativno kao svojevrsno upozorenje, ali koje li koincidencije, baš u tom trenutku me telefonski obavještava Veljko Drinković iz Jelse da je kod Maslinice nedaleko od Vrboske, dok je vozio svoj jet ski, na moru primijetio golemu mrlju ispuštenih fekalija.

On smatra da ih u more ispuštaju mini kruzeri ili jahte koje plove između Basine i Zečeva na relacijama za Split, Bol, Makarsku ili Jelsu, što je, naravno, protuzakonito. Do sada je to, veli, vidio već 3, 4 puta od početka turističke sezone, ponekad fekalije vjetar odnese na obale Hvara, a ponekad prema susjednom otoku Braču, sve u svemu vrlo grubo i posve neprihvatljivo.

- Nikoga osobno nisam vidio da to čini, ali mi se u posljednje vrijeme od fekalija pokušavamo zaštiti mini branom koja se vidi na fotografiji. Mrlja je ovog puta stigla do same obale i bila promjera oko 150 x 10 metara, prava katastrofa. Stoga pretpostavljam da su fekalne vode ipak ispuštene iz nešto većeg plovila. Kod nas se očito ne poštuju odredbe Pomorskog zakonika, jer ja u našim lukama nikad ne vidim da se sustavno prikuplja tu vrstu otpada, pa zato i imamo ovakvu situaciju. Bog nam je dao najljepše more, ali istodobno imamo i najveću čarter flotu na svijetu, tako da ćemo, ako se ovako nastavi, uskoro od onoga što su naši preci za nas ustrajno čuvali naprosto imati jednu veliku septičku jamu – rekao je Drinković, čovjek koji je od malih nogu u turizmu, svojedobno je bio direktor, pa i predsjednik Turističke zajednice općine Jelsa.

A jednom sam negdje pročitao sugestiju našeg istaknutog stručnjaka dr. sc. Žarka Koboevića s Pomorskog odjela Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, koji je predlagao da se ispumpavanje tankova otpadnih voda vrši u lukama i da to bude uključeno u cijenu pristojbe pristajanja u marinama i lukama.

Na taj način se ne bi izbjegavalo korištenje takve usluge, ali s druge strane to znači da bi u njima trebale djelovati službe koje bi svakih nekoliko sati obilazile kruzere i jahte te sakupljale smeće, fekalije i ulje. J

edan drugi Dubrovčanin bi pak problem ispuštanja fekalija u more blizu obale riješio tako da bi crne i sive tankove u plovilima jednostavno zavario, što bi onda ostavilo jedinu moguću soluciju – ispumpavanje fekalija u lukama.

Upravo ovih dana kada sam putovao trajektom na liniji Sućuraj – Drvenik, čitao sam na istaknutoj obavijesti za putnike da je naše Jadransko more Međunarodnom konvencijom MARPOL 73/78 svrstano u posebna ekološka područja u kojima je zabranjeno odlaganje otpadaka, primjerice plastike, sintetičkih mreža i užadi, plastičnih kesa, papira, krpa, stakla, metala, boca, ambalaže, itd.

Razgradnja pojedinih tvari može potrajati od nekoliko tjedana pa čak do 500 godina, a za staklo se ni ne zna koliko, pa se ljudima dobronamjerno sugerira da čuvaju more za sebe i buduće naraštaje prikupljanjem i odlaganjem smeća u lučke uređaje za prihvat otpada.

Pomislih, baš lijepo, djeluje edukativno kao svojevrsno upozorenje, ali koje li koincidencije, baš u tom trenutku me telefonski obavještava Veljko Drinković iz Jelse da je kod Maslinice nedaleko od Vrboske, dok je vozio svoj jet ski, na moru primijetio golemu mrlju ispuštenih fekalija.

On smatra da ih u more ispuštaju mini kruzeri ili jahte koje plove između Basine i Zečeva na relacijama za Split, Bol, Makarsku ili Jelsu, što je, naravno, protuzakonito. Do sada je to, veli, vidio već 3, 4 puta od početka turističke sezone, ponekad fekalije vjetar odnese na obale Hvara, a ponekad prema susjednom otoku Braču, sve u svemu vrlo grubo i posve neprihvatljivo.

- Nikoga osobno nisam vidio da to čini, ali mi se u posljednje vrijeme od fekalija pokušavamo zaštiti mini branom koja se vidi na fotografiji. Mrlja je ovog puta stigla do same obale i bila promjera oko 150 x 10 metara, prava katastrofa. Stoga pretpostavljam da su fekalne vode ipak ispuštene iz nešto većeg plovila. Kod nas se očito ne poštuju odredbe Pomorskog zakonika, jer ja u našim lukama nikad ne vidim da se sustavno prikuplja tu vrstu otpada, pa zato i imamo ovakvu situaciju. Bog nam je dao najljepše more, ali istodobno imamo i najveću čarter flotu na svijetu, tako da ćemo, ako se ovako nastavi, uskoro od onoga što su naši preci za nas ustrajno čuvali naprosto imati jednu veliku septičku jamu – rekao je Drinković, čovjek koji je od malih nogu u turizmu, svojedobno je bio direktor, pa i predsjednik Turističke zajednice općine Jelsa.

A jednom sam negdje pročitao sugestiju našeg istaknutog stručnjaka dr. sc. Žarka Koboevića s Pomorskog odjela Sveučilišta u Dubrovniku, koji je predlagao da se ispumpavanje tankova otpadnih voda vrši u lukama i da to bude uključeno u cijenu pristojbe pristajanja u marinama i lukama.

Na taj način se ne bi izbjegavalo korištenje takve usluge, ali s druge strane to znači da bi u njima trebale djelovati službe koje bi svakih nekoliko sati obilazile kruzere i jahte te sakupljale smeće, fekalije i ulje. J

edan drugi Dubrovčanin bi pak problem ispuštanja fekalija u more blizu obale riješio tako da bi crne i sive tankove u plovilima jednostavno zavario, što bi onda ostavilo jedinu moguću soluciju – ispumpavanje fekalija u lukama.
