Istog dana su predsjednik GO SDP-a Daniel Radeta i predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Marko Vučetić objavili da Zadrani od sljedeće godine neće više plaćati prirez. Smatrajući da ga se opet stavlja pred zid, jer se očito unaprijed računa da će tu ideju podržati, reagirao je Enio Meštrović.
- Nitko s nama ne može a priori računati za svaku inicijativu koju namjerava pokrenuti. O ukidanju prireza nismo razgovarali i ne može se na nas unaprijed računati kao na sastavni dio većine, kaže Meštrović dodajući da su njegove konzultacije s nekim financijskim stručnjacima pokazale i nešto drugo:
- Čuo sam se s nekoliko ljudi koji se razumiju u financije i na temelju tih razgovora mislim da stvari s prirezom ne treba lomiti preko koljena. Možda bi bilo racionalnije postupno ga smanjivati radi održivosti proračuna, zaključuje Meštrović.
Zadrani plaćaju prirez od 1. travnja 2012. godine po stopi od 12 posto, a u nekoliko su navrata iz opozicije već tražili njegovo smanjivanje ili ukidanje. Božidar Kalmeta je na početku svog prošlog gradonačelničkog mandata 2013. godine, najavljivao da će „u sljedeće 4 godine prirez biti sigurno smajnjen, a hoće li biti potpuno ukinut, to sada trenutačno ne mogu reći, prirez nije političko pitanje, to je financijsko i gospodarsko pitanje”.
Ali, unatoč čestim obećanjima, prirez je do danas ostao na snazi. Godinu dana nakon što je uveden, u gradsku blagajnu je donio oko 20 milijuna kuna, a sada je riječ o prihodu koji se kreće između 24 i 25 milijuna kuna.
Gradski pročelnik za financije Ivan Mijolović upozorava i na nešto drugo:
- Ukidanje prireza nužno dovodi i do „pretumbacija” na rashodovnoj strani proračuna. Nadam se da inicijatori njegovog ukidanja imaju ideju kome na rashodovnoj strani smanjiti proračunska sredstva u tolikom iznosu, kaže Mijolović.
Zaposleni s plaćama manjim od 4.000 kuna ionako ne plaćaju ni porez na dohodak ni prirez, što znači da bi ukidanje prireza olakšalo financijsku situaciju za građane s plaćama većim od 4.000 kuna.

Istog dana su predsjednik GO SDP-a Daniel Radeta i predsjednik Gradskog vijeća Marko Vučetić objavili da Zadrani od sljedeće godine neće više plaćati prirez. Smatrajući da ga se opet stavlja pred zid, jer se očito unaprijed računa da će tu ideju podržati, reagirao je Enio Meštrović.
- Nitko s nama ne može a priori računati za svaku inicijativu koju namjerava pokrenuti. O ukidanju prireza nismo razgovarali i ne može se na nas unaprijed računati kao na sastavni dio većine, kaže Meštrović dodajući da su njegove konzultacije s nekim financijskim stručnjacima pokazale i nešto drugo:
- Čuo sam se s nekoliko ljudi koji se razumiju u financije i na temelju tih razgovora mislim da stvari s prirezom ne treba lomiti preko koljena. Možda bi bilo racionalnije postupno ga smanjivati radi održivosti proračuna, zaključuje Meštrović.
Zadrani plaćaju prirez od 1. travnja 2012. godine po stopi od 12 posto, a u nekoliko su navrata iz opozicije već tražili njegovo smanjivanje ili ukidanje. Božidar Kalmeta je na početku svog prošlog gradonačelničkog mandata 2013. godine, najavljivao da će „u sljedeće 4 godine prirez biti sigurno smajnjen, a hoće li biti potpuno ukinut, to sada trenutačno ne mogu reći, prirez nije političko pitanje, to je financijsko i gospodarsko pitanje”.
Ali, unatoč čestim obećanjima, prirez je do danas ostao na snazi. Godinu dana nakon što je uveden, u gradsku blagajnu je donio oko 20 milijuna kuna, a sada je riječ o prihodu koji se kreće između 24 i 25 milijuna kuna.
Gradski pročelnik za financije Ivan Mijolović upozorava i na nešto drugo:
- Ukidanje prireza nužno dovodi i do „pretumbacija” na rashodovnoj strani proračuna. Nadam se da inicijatori njegovog ukidanja imaju ideju kome na rashodovnoj strani smanjiti proračunska sredstva u tolikom iznosu, kaže Mijolović.
Zaposleni s plaćama manjim od 4.000 kuna ionako ne plaćaju ni porez na dohodak ni prirez, što znači da bi ukidanje prireza olakšalo financijsku situaciju za građane s plaćama većim od 4.000 kuna.
