Šokantni epilog jednoga od najpoznatijih festivala svijeta, kultnog Burning Mana, jedna je poginula osoba i više od 70.000 ljudi zarobljenih usred pustinje nakon što se dogodio scenarij iz noćne more. Usred pustinje u Nevadi pala je kiša, a pijesak se pretvorio u blato te su organizatori posjetiteljima poručili da u ovom trenutku izlaza nema, piše Daily Mail., a prenosi Jutarnji.

- Ne putujte u Black Rock City. Pristup gradu je onemogućen. Kiša koja pada već 24 sata stvorila je situaciju koja zahtijeva potpunu obustavu prometa, tvitali su organizatori Burning Mana nakon potopa.

Tisuće sudionika Burning Mana vucaralo se po blatnim lokvama - mnogi su bosi ili s plastičnim vrećicama na nogama.

Vjeruje se da je u petak na lokaciji gdje se održava festival palo 15 centimetara kiše po četvornom metru, objavila je Nacionalna meteorološka služba u Renou.

Između subote i nedjelje u Nevadi se očekuje još sedam centimetara kiše i ne očekuje se da će se uvjeti dovoljno popraviti kako bi se vozilima omogućilo kretanje.

- Neki su krenuli biciklom i zapeli jer blato doseže do gležnja. Toliko je gusto da se lijepi za cipele i izgleda kao čizma oko vaše čizme, rekla je.

Amar Singh Duggal i njegovi prijatelji propješačili su oko 3 kilometra po blatu da bi napustili festival. Procjenjuju da im je trebalo dva sata do glavne ceste.

- Uspjeli smo, ali to je bio čisti pakao. Svaki korak osjećali smo kao da na nogama nosimo dva velika bloka šljake.

Organizatori su subotu navečer najavili da će postaviti prikolice s mobilnim ćelijama na različite lokacije, konfigurirati Wi-Fi te organizirati autobuse do obližnjeg grada Gerlacha.

- Operacija će trajati više od 24 sata, rekli su.

Ipak, katastrofalni vremenski uvjeti nisu ubili kreativnost kod posjetitelja. Mnogi su počeli izgrađivati skulpture od blata.

Festival umjetnosti Burning Man tradicionalno se održava krajem svakoga ljeta u pustinji Black Rock u Nevadi. Svake godine ondje niče improvizirani grad - podižu se kampovi, ulice dobivaju imena, a sve nestaje kada festival završi. Kulminacija festivala je paljenje ogromne skulpture koja simbolizira katarzu za posjetitelje, a kiša je u petak počela padati pred sam početak svečanog čina. Od sudionika se očekuje da pridonesu svojim umjetničkim djelovanjem estetici festivala.

Šokantni epilog jednoga od najpoznatijih festivala svijeta, kultnog Burning Mana, jedna je poginula osoba i više od 70.000 ljudi zarobljenih usred pustinje nakon što se dogodio scenarij iz noćne more. Usred pustinje u Nevadi pala je kiša, a pijesak se pretvorio u blato te su organizatori posjetiteljima poručili da u ovom trenutku izlaza nema, piše Daily Mail., a prenosi Jutarnji.

Tisuće sudionika Burning Mana vucaralo se po blatnim lokvama - mnogi su bosi ili s plastičnim vrećicama na nogama.

Vjeruje se da je u petak na lokaciji gdje se održava festival palo 15 centimetara kiše po četvornom metru, objavila je Nacionalna meteorološka služba u Renou.

Između subote i nedjelje u Nevadi se očekuje još sedam centimetara kiše i ne očekuje se da će se uvjeti dovoljno popraviti kako bi se vozilima omogućilo kretanje.

Amar Singh Duggal i njegovi prijatelji propješačili su oko 3 kilometra po blatu da bi napustili festival. Procjenjuju da im je trebalo dva sata do glavne ceste.
