Kad se stjenice uvuku u kuću, nije nimalo lako riješiti ih se. O tome svjedoči i priča jednog čitatelja koji je opisao svoju borbu s tim malim, ali ustrajnim kukcima.

"Osobno sam se uvjerio kako je borba protiv njih vrlo zahtijevna i složena. Naime, moj sin je nakon povratka iz New Yorka, donio stjenice na svojim koferima. Iz njegove sobe proširile su se u našu spavaću sobu. Normalno, supruga je okrivila mene da sam ja donosilac nezvanih životinja. Zbog toga sam joj prepustio inicijativu da se riješi tih napasnika. Nekoliko puta dolazili su iz tvrtke za dezinsekciju. Tretirali su kemijskom sredstvima. Stavljali su lovke za stjenice. Supruga je pobacala cjelokupnu posteljinu i kupila nove jastuke. Sve je puno koštalo. Međutim, stjenice su se uvijek iznova pojavljivale", požalio se čitatelj, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kad ništa od navedenog nije pomoglo, i on se uključio u borbu protiv dosadnih kukaca (ne kaže se uzalud da je netko "dosadan kao stjenica").

"S interneta sam ‘skinuo‘ literaturu. Proučio sam karakteristike stjenica i odabrao najefikasniji način djelovanja za moje okolnosti. Osnovni princip je obavezna kombinacija nekoliko metoda eliminacije stjenica. Odabrao sam: kemijsku, termičku i fizičku metodu. Zatim sam napravio plan djelovanja, dobio suglasnost ukućana te nabavio potreban sredstva i alate. Sredstva sam našao na Amazonu jer ih nema kod nas: prvo, biološko-kemijsko sredstvo za špricanje koje ubija žive stjenice ako dođu u dodir sa sredstvom. K tome, nabavio sam raspršivač kemijskog sredstva i talk-puder protiv stjenica koji se stavlja na moguće puteve stjenica u nedostupne dijelove prostorije." tvrdi.

"Prelaskom preko pudera i one koje se izlegu nakon kemijskog djelovanja dehidriraju. Zatim sam nabavio i raspršivač pudera te parni čistač čija para uništava stjenice i njihova jajašca koja su otporna na kemikalije. Naposljetku, tu je bila i zamka: podmetači za noge od kreveta za hvatanje preživjelih stjenica koje se nastoje popeti na kreveta radi konzumacije krvi domaćina", naveo je čitatelj za Jutarnji list.

Za akciju protiv stjenica potrošio je cijeli vikend. "Sva je posteljina oprana je na 70 Celzijevih stupnjeva, a jastuci su stavljeni u zamrzivač na dva tjedna. Kod nas doma nema više stjenica godinama. No, moj je savjet onima koji putuju: prije i poslije putovanja treba poprskati rubove i šavove putnih torbi i kofera sredstvom protiv stjenica koje se može nabaviti u poljoprivrednim apotekama", zaključuje.

Nekoliko puta dolazili su iz tvrtke za dezinsekciju. Tretirali su kemijskom sredstvima. Stavljali su lovke za stjenice. Supruga je pobacala cjelokupnu posteljinu i kupila nove jastuke. Sve je puno koštalo. Međutim, stjenice su se uvijek iznova pojavljivale", požalio se čitatelj, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Kad ništa od navedenog nije pomoglo, i on se uključio u borbu protiv dosadnih kukaca (ne kaže se uzalud da je netko "dosadan kao stjenica").

"S interneta sam ‘skinuo‘ literaturu. Proučio sam karakteristike stjenica i odabrao najefikasniji način djelovanja za moje okolnosti. Osnovni princip je obavezna kombinacija nekoliko metoda eliminacije stjenica. Odabrao sam: kemijsku, termičku i fizičku metodu. Zatim sam napravio plan djelovanja, dobio suglasnost ukućana te nabavio potreban sredstva i alate. Sredstva sam našao na Amazonu jer ih nema kod nas: prvo, biološko-kemijsko sredstvo za špricanje koje ubija žive stjenice ako dođu u dodir sa sredstvom. K tome, nabavio sam raspršivač kemijskog sredstva i talk-puder protiv stjenica koji se stavlja na moguće puteve stjenica u nedostupne dijelove prostorije." tvrdi.
