Na autocesti smo u klimatski pakao, s papučicom gasa pritisnutom do kraja, dramatično je poručio otvarajući klimatski sastanak na vrhu u Sharm el-Sheikhu glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres.

U Egiptu su šefovi država i vlada dvjestotinjak zemalja, a danas će govor održati hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković. Jedna od glavnih tema je klimatska pravda - naknada štete siromašnim zemljama na račun čijeg okoliša su se razvile bogate. 

Nova talijanska krajnje desna premijerka Giorgia Meloni zatražila je više akcije protiv najvećih klimatskih ‘grešnika‘ među nacijama.

Govoreći na engleskom jeziku na Svjetskoj konferenciji o klimi u Egiptu u ponedjeljak navečer, Meloni je rekla da je borba protiv klimatskih promjena zajednički napor te zahtijeva punu predanost svih zemalja i međunarodnih aktera.

- Nažalost, moramo priznati da se to ne događa. Najpredanije zemlje riskirale su plaćanje visoke cijene, za razliku od onih koje su uglavnom odgovorne za emisije CO2 na Zemlji. To je paradoksalno i potrebne su mjere za rješavanje te neravnoteže, rekla je Meloni.

- Ako to ne uspije, svi napori i događaji, poput sastanka COP27 u Sharm el-Sheikhu, mogli bi biti uzaludni. Svijet je na ključnoj točki povijesti i mora pronaći rješenja sada, to duguje sljedećim generacijama, istaknula je talijanska premijerka.

Meloni je rekla da Italija želi i dalje biti snažno predana smanjenju svoje emisije ugljičnog dioksida i postizanju ciljeva Pariškog klimatskog sporazuma.

Ta mediteranska zemlja teži zelenijim izvorima energije i boljoj diversifikaciji općenito. Nedavno je nova premijerka rekla da bi mogla zamisliti više solarnih elektrana na jugu Italije.

Istodobno je najavila da Italija želi crpsti više prirodnog plina iz talijanskog tla i mora kako bi postala neovisnija.

Na autocesti smo u klimatski pakao, s papučicom gasa pritisnutom do kraja, dramatično je poručio otvarajući klimatski sastanak na vrhu u Sharm el-Sheikhu glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres.

U Egiptu su šefovi država i vlada dvjestotinjak zemalja, a danas će govor održati hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković. Jedna od glavnih tema je klimatska pravda - naknada štete siromašnim zemljama na račun čijeg okoliša su se razvile bogate. 

Nova talijanska krajnje desna premijerka Giorgia Meloni zatražila je više akcije protiv najvećih klimatskih ‘grešnika‘ među nacijama.

Govoreći na engleskom jeziku na Svjetskoj konferenciji o klimi u Egiptu u ponedjeljak navečer, Meloni je rekla da je borba protiv klimatskih promjena zajednički napor te zahtijeva punu predanost svih zemalja i međunarodnih aktera.

- Nažalost, moramo priznati da se to ne događa. Najpredanije zemlje riskirale su plaćanje visoke cijene, za razliku od onih koje su uglavnom odgovorne za emisije CO2 na Zemlji. To je paradoksalno i potrebne su mjere za rješavanje te neravnoteže, rekla je Meloni.

Ta mediteranska zemlja teži zelenijim izvorima energije i boljoj diversifikaciji općenito. Nedavno je nova premijerka rekla da bi mogla zamisliti više solarnih elektrana na jugu Italije.

Istodobno je najavila da Italija želi crpsti više prirodnog plina iz talijanskog tla i mora kako bi postala neovisnija.

Upozorenje glavnog tajnika UN-a: Svijet je na autocesti prema klimatskom paklu

Na autocesti smo u klimatski pakao, s papučicom gasa pritisnutom do kraja, dramatično je poručio otvarajući klimatski sastanak na vrhu u Sharm el-Sheikhu glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres.

U Egiptu su šefovi država i vlada dvjestotinjak zemalja, a danas će govor održati hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković. Jedna od glavnih tema je klimatska pravda - naknada štete siromašnim zemljama na račun čijeg okoliša su se razvile bogate. 

Nova talijanska krajnje desna premijerka Giorgia Meloni zatražila je više akcije protiv najvećih klimatskih ‘grešnika‘ među nacijama.

Govoreći na engleskom jeziku na Svjetskoj konferenciji o klimi u Egiptu u ponedjeljak navečer, Meloni je rekla da je borba protiv klimatskih promjena zajednički napor te zahtijeva punu predanost svih zemalja i međunarodnih aktera.

- Nažalost, moramo priznati da se to ne događa. Najpredanije zemlje riskirale su plaćanje visoke cijene, za razliku od onih koje su uglavnom odgovorne za emisije CO2 na Zemlji. To je paradoksalno i potrebne su mjere za rješavanje te neravnoteže, rekla je Meloni.
