Iako je već neko vrijeme poznato da će Filip Hrgović (14-0, 12 KO) boksati na istom eventu kao Anthony Joshua i Oleksandr Usyk, ipak se čekala službena potvrda. To smo napokon i dočekali te je službeno potvrđeno kako će ‘‘El Animal‘‘ 20. kolovoza (osmi mjesec) boksati u Saudijskoj Arabiji.

Ponajboljeg hrvatskog boksača čeka najteži ispit u dosadašnjoj profesionalnoj karijeri. Zhilei Zhang (24-0-1, 19 KO) bit će na suprotnoj strani ringa. Radi se o 39-godišnjem Kinezu nadimka ‘‘Big Bang‘‘, a 2008. godine okitio se srebrnom olimpijskom medaljom, piše Fight site.

Meč Hrgovića i Zhanga svojevrsni je ‘‘title eliminator‘‘ za IBF-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u teškoj kategoriji. Pobjednik tog meča postat će IBF-ovim obveznim sljedećeim izazivačem, a to je potvrdio i Eddie Hearn, jedan od najpoznatijih boksačkih promotora na svijetu.

‘‘Pobjednik je obvezan izazivač pobjedniku meča između Usyka i Joshue‘‘, napisao je Hearn u svojoj objavi na Instagramu.

Još neki zanimljivi mečevi dodani su na program koji nas čeka u Jeddahu. Badou Jack (26-3-3), bivši svjetski prvak u dvama težinskim kategorijama (super-srednja i poluteška), boksat će protiv neporaženog Richarda Rivere (21-0, 16 KO).

Vrijedi istaknuti i meč između Andrewa Tabitija (19-1, 15 KO) koji će boksati protiv kickboksačke legende Tyronea Sponga. Spong ima i boksačkog iskustva, jer iza njega je 14 pobjeda u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. 13 ih je upisao nokautom, ali u boksačkom ringu nije bio od osmog mjeseca 2019. godine

Callum Smith (28-1, 20 KO) i Mathieu Bauderlique (21-1, 12 KO) boksat će u ‘‘title eliminatoru‘‘ za WBC-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u poluteškoj kategoriji. Taj pojas trenutno drži Artur Beterbiev, a što se Calluma Smitha tiče, radi se o bivšem svjetskm prvaku u super-srednjoj kategoriji, a jedini poraz u karijeri upisao je protiv Canela Alvareza.

As Ramla Ali (6-0, 1 KO) i Crystal Garcia Nova (10-2, 10 KO) ispisat će povijest ženskog boksa na tom eventu. Naime, bit će to prvi ženski profesionalni boksački meč koji će se održati na tlu Saudijske Arabije.

Dakle, jasno je kako se radi o priredbi koja nudi pregršt zanimljivosti i Filip Hrgović boksat će na ogromnoj pozornici. Oleksandr Usyk i Anthony Joshua ipak su glavne zvijezde ove priredbe i tu nema nikakve dileme. Ali šira publika imat će prilike upoznati i ‘‘El Animala‘‘. Nadamo se da će Hrgović iskoristiti takvu priliku.

Iako je već neko vrijeme poznato da će Filip Hrgović (14-0, 12 KO) boksati na istom eventu kao Anthony Joshua i Oleksandr Usyk, ipak se čekala službena potvrda. To smo napokon i dočekali te je službeno potvrđeno kako će ‘‘El Animal‘‘ 20. kolovoza (osmi mjesec) boksati u Saudijskoj Arabiji.

Ponajboljeg hrvatskog boksača čeka najteži ispit u dosadašnjoj profesionalnoj karijeri. Zhilei Zhang (24-0-1, 19 KO) bit će na suprotnoj strani ringa. Radi se o 39-godišnjem Kinezu nadimka ‘‘Big Bang‘‘, a 2008. godine okitio se srebrnom olimpijskom medaljom, piše Fight site.

Meč Hrgovića i Zhanga svojevrsni je ‘‘title eliminator‘‘ za IBF-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u teškoj kategoriji. Pobjednik tog meča postat će IBF-ovim obveznim sljedećeim izazivačem, a to je potvrdio i Eddie Hearn, jedan od najpoznatijih boksačkih promotora na svijetu.

‘‘Pobjednik je obvezan izazivač pobjedniku meča između Usyka i Joshue‘‘, napisao je Hearn u svojoj objavi na Instagramu.

Još neki zanimljivi mečevi dodani su na program koji nas čeka u Jeddahu. Badou Jack (26-3-3), bivši svjetski prvak u dvama težinskim kategorijama (super-srednja i poluteška), boksat će protiv neporaženog Richarda Rivere (21-0, 16 KO).

Vrijedi istaknuti i meč između Andrewa Tabitija (19-1, 15 KO) koji će boksati protiv kickboksačke legende Tyronea Sponga. Spong ima i boksačkog iskustva, jer iza njega je 14 pobjeda u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. 13 ih je upisao nokautom, ali u boksačkom ringu nije bio od osmog mjeseca 2019. godine

Callum Smith (28-1, 20 KO) i Mathieu Bauderlique (21-1, 12 KO) boksat će u ‘‘title eliminatoru‘‘ za WBC-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u poluteškoj kategoriji. Taj pojas trenutno drži Artur Beterbiev, a što se Calluma Smitha tiče, radi se o bivšem svjetskm prvaku u super-srednjoj kategoriji, a jedini poraz u karijeri upisao je protiv Canela Alvareza.

As Ramla Ali (6-0, 1 KO) i Crystal Garcia Nova (10-2, 10 KO) ispisat će povijest ženskog boksa na tom eventu. Naime, bit će to prvi ženski profesionalni boksački meč koji će se održati na tlu Saudijske Arabije.

Dakle, jasno je kako se radi o priredbi koja nudi pregršt zanimljivosti i Filip Hrgović boksat će na ogromnoj pozornici. Oleksandr Usyk i Anthony Joshua ipak su glavne zvijezde ove priredbe i tu nema nikakve dileme. Ali šira publika imat će prilike upoznati i ‘‘El Animala‘‘. Nadamo se da će Hrgović iskoristiti takvu priliku.

Filip Hrgović i Zhilei Zhang službeno dobili datum meča, promotor Eddie Hearn poručio: ‘Pobjednik ide na Joshuu ili Usyka!‘‘

Iako je već neko vrijeme poznato da će Filip Hrgović (14-0, 12 KO) boksati na istom eventu kao Anthony Joshua i Oleksandr Usyk, ipak se čekala službena potvrda. To smo napokon i dočekali te je službeno potvrđeno kako će ‘‘El Animal‘‘ 20. kolovoza (osmi mjesec) boksati u Saudijskoj Arabiji.

Ponajboljeg hrvatskog boksača čeka najteži ispit u dosadašnjoj profesionalnoj karijeri. Zhilei Zhang (24-0-1, 19 KO) bit će na suprotnoj strani ringa. Radi se o 39-godišnjem Kinezu nadimka ‘‘Big Bang‘‘, a 2008. godine okitio se srebrnom olimpijskom medaljom, piše Fight site.

Meč Hrgovića i Zhanga svojevrsni je ‘‘title eliminator‘‘ za IBF-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u teškoj kategoriji. Pobjednik tog meča postat će IBF-ovim obveznim sljedećeim izazivačem, a to je potvrdio i Eddie Hearn, jedan od najpoznatijih boksačkih promotora na svijetu.

‘‘Pobjednik je obvezan izazivač pobjedniku meča između Usyka i Joshue‘‘, napisao je Hearn u svojoj objavi na Instagramu.

Još neki zanimljivi mečevi dodani su na program koji nas čeka u Jeddahu. Badou Jack (26-3-3), bivši svjetski prvak u dvama težinskim kategorijama (super-srednja i poluteška), boksat će protiv neporaženog Richarda Rivere (21-0, 16 KO).

Vrijedi istaknuti i meč između Andrewa Tabitija (19-1, 15 KO) koji će boksati protiv kickboksačke legende Tyronea Sponga. Spong ima i boksačkog iskustva, jer iza njega je 14 pobjeda u jednako toliko profesionalnih nastupa. 13 ih je upisao nokautom, ali u boksačkom ringu nije bio od osmog mjeseca 2019. godine

Callum Smith (28-1, 20 KO) i Mathieu Bauderlique (21-1, 12 KO) boksat će u ‘‘title eliminatoru‘‘ za WBC-ovu titulu svjetskog prvaka u poluteškoj kategoriji. Taj pojas trenutno drži Artur Beterbiev, a što se Calluma Smitha tiče, radi se o bivšem svjetskm prvaku u super-srednjoj kategoriji, a jedini poraz u karijeri upisao je protiv Canela Alvareza.

As Ramla Ali (6-0, 1 KO) i Crystal Garcia Nova (10-2, 10 KO) ispisat će povijest ženskog boksa na tom eventu. Naime, bit će to prvi ženski profesionalni boksački meč koji će se održati na tlu Saudijske Arabije.

Dakle, jasno je kako se radi o priredbi koja nudi pregršt zanimljivosti i Filip Hrgović boksat će na ogromnoj pozornici. Oleksandr Usyk i Anthony Joshua ipak su glavne zvijezde ove priredbe i tu nema nikakve dileme. Ali šira publika imat će prilike upoznati i ‘‘El Animala‘‘. Nadamo se da će Hrgović iskoristiti takvu priliku.
