Glazbenik Tom Petty umro je od predoziranja lijekovima među kojima je ključan fentanil, moćni opijat koji je kriv i za smrt Princea.

"Naša obitelj sastala se ujutro s ekipom patologa koji su rekli da je Tom Petty podlijegao predoziranju s nekoliko lijekova", piše u priopćenju koje su u petak objavile supruga i kći glazbenika, Dana i Aria Petty. Naglasile su da je pjevač "American Girl" imao "nekoliko teških zdravstvenih problema, među kojima emfizem pluća, probleme s koljenima i prvenstveno slomljen kuk".

"Usprkos toj bolnoj ozljedi", održao je turneju s 53 predviđenih datuma, pogoršavši prijelom. "Mislimo da mu je bol postala jednostavno nepodnošljiva što je izazvalo njegovo pretjerano uzimanje lijekova", nastavlja se u priopćenju.

Dodaju da je zbog toga uzimao više analgetika, među kojima flastere fentanila te vjeruju, "kao što je patolog zaključio, da je njegova smrt bila nesretni slučaj". Rocker Tom Petty umro je 3. listopada u 66. godini života. Poznat po "Learning to Fly", "I Won't Back Down" i "Free Fallin", tjedan dana ranije završio je turneju kojom se slavilo 40 godina njegove skupine Heartbreakers.

Fentanil je uzrokovao preranu smrt i superzvijezde Princea, a i glumci Heath Ledger i Philip Seymour Hoffman još su dvije zvijezde preminule zadnjih godina od predoziranja opijatima.

Glazbenik Tom Petty umro je od predoziranja lijekovima među kojima je ključan fentanil, moćni opijat koji je kriv i za smrt Princea.

"Naša obitelj sastala se ujutro s ekipom patologa koji su rekli da je Tom Petty podlijegao predoziranju s nekoliko lijekova", piše u priopćenju koje su u petak objavile supruga i kći glazbenika, Dana i Aria Petty. Naglasile su da je pjevač "American Girl" imao "nekoliko teških zdravstvenih problema, među kojima emfizem pluća, probleme s koljenima i prvenstveno slomljen kuk".

"Usprkos toj bolnoj ozljedi", održao je turneju s 53 predviđenih datuma, pogoršavši prijelom. "Mislimo da mu je bol postala jednostavno nepodnošljiva što je izazvalo njegovo pretjerano uzimanje lijekova", nastavlja se u priopćenju.

Dodaju da je zbog toga uzimao više analgetika, među kojima flastere fentanila te vjeruju, "kao što je patolog zaključio, da je njegova smrt bila nesretni slučaj". Rocker Tom Petty umro je 3. listopada u 66. godini života. Poznat po "Learning to Fly", "I Won't Back Down" i "Free Fallin", tjedan dana ranije završio je turneju kojom se slavilo 40 godina njegove skupine Heartbreakers.

Fentanil je uzrokovao preranu smrt i superzvijezde Princea, a i glumci Heath Ledger i Philip Seymour Hoffman još su dvije zvijezde preminule zadnjih godina od predoziranja opijatima.
