Svake nas godine iznenadi neki upadljivi novitet među rekvizitima na plažama. Jedne je godine to gigantski flamingo, druge šareni jednorog, treće komad pizze na napuhavanje… No, ove su godine kreativci nadmašili sve dosad viđeno i napravili - ružičasti lijes na napuhavanje.

Iza ideje stoje dizajneri Andrew Greenbaum i Ian Feltoni sve je zapravo počelo kao zezancija

Plutajući ružičasti lijes, s poklopcem da ne bi bilo zabune, nastao je kao umjetničko djelo prije tri godine koje ismijava sva napuhana čudesa koja su počela nicati po plažama diljem svijeta. Autori su rekli da su htjeli napraviti nešto ‘zabavno, opušteno, satirično i neobično’.

Međutim, nisu se nadali da će njihovo djelo imati toliko odjeka i interesa. Nakon što su im se brojni ljudi javili s pitanjem gdje mogu kupiti proizvod, odlučili su pokrenuti kampanju na Kickstarteru i skupiti novce za masovniju proizvodnju, objavio je Jutarnji.hr.
