Sveta Stolica je revidirala svoj stav o filozofu koji je svojedobno religiju nazvao opijumom za mase, tvorcu naučnog komunizma Karlu Marxu, piše britanski Times.

Time se Marx pridružio Galileju i Darwinu na sve dužem popisu povijesnih veličina za koje je sada na snazi donedavno nezamisliv revidirani stav Rimokatoličke crkve.

Povod za drukčije vatikansko gledanje na pisca Kapitala, Times vidi u tekstu lista Svete Stolice Osservatore Romano, po kojem su rane Marxove kritike kapitalizma posebno naglasile socijalno otuđenje koje osjeća dobar dio čovječanstva, koji, čak i danas, ostaje isključen i izvan procesa donošenja ekonomskih i političkih odluka.

Iako spomenuti tekst nije lišen kritika na račun Marxa i njegova materijalističkog viđenja povijesti, Times podsjeća i da je papa Benedikt XVI. poprilično zauzet “popravljanjem” stajališta Crkve spram suvremenog kapitalizma te je, motiviran recesijom, ocijenio da je globalni kapitalizam na stranputici te da bi učenje Crkve, po mišljenju Pape, fokusiranjem na pravdu za slabe i regulacijom tržišta moglo obnoviti ekonomsko zdravlje svijeta.

Sada, kada je i Marx od Vatikana dobio prolaznu ocjenu, pitanje koje slijedi glasi tko je sljedeći na redu.

Sveta Stolica je revidirala svoj stav o filozofu koji je svojedobno religiju nazvao opijumom za mase, tvorcu naučnog komunizma Karlu Marxu, piše britanski Times.

Time se Marx pridružio Galileju i Darwinu na sve dužem popisu povijesnih veličina za koje je sada na snazi donedavno nezamisliv revidirani stav Rimokatoličke crkve.

Povod za drukčije vatikansko gledanje na pisca Kapitala, Times vidi u tekstu lista Svete Stolice Osservatore Romano, po kojem su rane Marxove kritike kapitalizma posebno naglasile socijalno otuđenje koje osjeća dobar dio čovječanstva, koji, čak i danas, ostaje isključen i izvan procesa donošenja ekonomskih i političkih odluka.

Iako spomenuti tekst nije lišen kritika na račun Marxa i njegova materijalističkog viđenja povijesti, Times podsjeća i da je papa Benedikt XVI. poprilično zauzet “popravljanjem” stajališta Crkve spram suvremenog kapitalizma te je, motiviran recesijom, ocijenio da je globalni kapitalizam na stranputici te da bi učenje Crkve, po mišljenju Pape, fokusiranjem na pravdu za slabe i regulacijom tržišta moglo obnoviti ekonomsko zdravlje svijeta.

Sada, kada je i Marx od Vatikana dobio prolaznu ocjenu, pitanje koje slijedi glasi tko je sljedeći na redu.
