- Da mi je taj komad pao na glavu, ne bih preživjela. Krajnje je vrijeme da se nešto poduzme! - apelira Estela Petrić Bajlo, pokazujući nam poveći komad fasade koji se odlomio sa zgrade pored bivšeg hotela Zagreb i tresnuo na nogostup. Pao je točno između zida zgrade i parkiranih automobila, svega dva metra od ulaza u zgradu, rasprsnuvši se na desetak manjih komadića. Onako odoka, reklo bi se da je komad bio težak četiri-pet kila. Da je pao na bilo koga, mogao je biti koban. Srećom ovaj put je pao na pod, jer komadi fasade sa stambene zgrade pokraj bivšeg hotela Zagreb padaju slobodno već godinama. I nikome ništa...
- Fasada pada ne samo s ove strane prema cesti, nego i s one druge, prema moru. Ali i sa bočne strane, prema zgradi rektorata. Ukrasni komadi fasade iznad ili ispod prozora se odlome od dotrajalosti i padnu. Ja sam imala sreće. Da sam izašla samo nekoliko sekunda prije iz portuna, ovaj komad je mogao završiti na mojoj glavi. Lijepo sam čula kada je tresnuo dok sam bila u portunu. Ne želim ni pomisliti što bi bilo da je naišlo neko dijete – govori nam gospođa Petrić Bajlo, jedna od vlasnica stana u stambenoj zgradi uz bivši hotel.
- Nigdje ne fasadi nema istaknutog upozorenja da se ovako nešto može dogoditi. Komadi fasade padaju na nogostup, po ljudima i automobilima. Osim toga, ova je kuća pod zaštitom konzervatora jer je jedna od rijetkih na Poluotoku koja je uspjela preživjeti savezničko bombardiranje u Drugom svjetskom ratu. Ali od te zaštite nemamo puno pomoći. Vidite i sami, sve ove ukrasne štukature na fasadi su već otpale, samo još treba da se dogodi neka tragedija – ističe gospođa Bajlo.
Sve što su dosad radilo na održavanju kuće, dodaje, napravili su i platili sami stanari iz stanarske pričuve. Od obnove krovišta do ugradnje lifta i uređenja dijela unutrašnjih dijelova zgrade.
Na ulaznim vratima u zgradu stoji naljepnica tvrtke UNIK, specijalizirane za upravljanje stambenim i poslovnim zgradama. No kad smo nazvali njihov broj u Zadru tražeći objašnjenje za loše stanje fasade zgrade koja svakog trena može nekoga doslovno ubiti, rekli su nam da ih nazovemo u - ponedjeljak.
Kao da će fasada čekati do tada da nekome padne na glavu...

- Da mi je taj komad pao na glavu, ne bih preživjela. Krajnje je vrijeme da se nešto poduzme! - apelira Estela Petrić Bajlo, pokazujući nam poveći komad fasade koji se odlomio sa zgrade pored bivšeg hotela Zagreb i tresnuo na nogostup. Pao je točno između zida zgrade i parkiranih automobila, svega dva metra od ulaza u zgradu, rasprsnuvši se na desetak manjih komadića. Onako odoka, reklo bi se da je komad bio težak četiri-pet kila. Da je pao na bilo koga, mogao je biti koban. Srećom ovaj put je pao na pod, jer komadi fasade sa stambene zgrade pokraj bivšeg hotela Zagreb padaju slobodno već godinama. I nikome ništa...
- Fasada pada ne samo s ove strane prema cesti, nego i s one druge, prema moru. Ali i sa bočne strane, prema zgradi rektorata. Ukrasni komadi fasade iznad ili ispod prozora se odlome od dotrajalosti i padnu. Ja sam imala sreće. Da sam izašla samo nekoliko sekunda prije iz portuna, ovaj komad je mogao završiti na mojoj glavi. Lijepo sam čula kada je tresnuo dok sam bila u portunu. Ne želim ni pomisliti što bi bilo da je naišlo neko dijete – govori nam gospođa Petrić Bajlo, jedna od vlasnica stana u stambenoj zgradi uz bivši hotel.
- Nigdje ne fasadi nema istaknutog upozorenja da se ovako nešto može dogoditi. Komadi fasade padaju na nogostup, po ljudima i automobilima. Osim toga, ova je kuća pod zaštitom konzervatora jer je jedna od rijetkih na Poluotoku koja je uspjela preživjeti savezničko bombardiranje u Drugom svjetskom ratu. Ali od te zaštite nemamo puno pomoći. Vidite i sami, sve ove ukrasne štukature na fasadi su već otpale, samo još treba da se dogodi neka tragedija – ističe gospođa Bajlo.
Sve što su dosad radilo na održavanju kuće, dodaje, napravili su i platili sami stanari iz stanarske pričuve. Od obnove krovišta do ugradnje lifta i uređenja dijela unutrašnjih dijelova zgrade.
Na ulaznim vratima u zgradu stoji naljepnica tvrtke UNIK, specijalizirane za upravljanje stambenim i poslovnim zgradama. No kad smo nazvali njihov broj u Zadru tražeći objašnjenje za loše stanje fasade zgrade koja svakog trena može nekoga doslovno ubiti, rekli su nam da ih nazovemo u - ponedjeljak.
Kao da će fasada čekati do tada da nekome padne na glavu...
