Već neko vrijeme, a od Nove godine i definitivno, zatvoreno je još jedno kultno mjesto gdje su se u središtu Splita okupljali filozofi – studentarija, sportaši i penšjunati – Klub zanatlija u Krešimirovoj ulici.
Poznat je “Zanat” bio kao jedan od rijetkih klubova na svijetu u kojem se nije puštala glazba – kako bi gosti mogli u miru voditi misaone rasprave.

Piće je bilo jeftino, ispod svake cijene, moglo se zaigrati na jedinstvene “balote na biljaru”, takozvane boccine, na karte, šah, ali iznad svega bilo je poznato po magičnoj atmosferi kakva u današnjem “prešminkanom” Splitu više ne postoji.
Prostorije Udruge Zanatlija u zabitoj uličici su od pamtivijeka, za Drugog svjetskog rata zvao se “Moulin Rouge”, u kojem su se održavali plesnjaci, nakon rata vodila ga je popularna teta Roža i tada je bilo i spize, a potom Bafa, a 1992. u popularno zimsko okupljalište mladih pretvorio ga je ugostitelj Branko Vranković, čiji je sin Ivica preuzeo posao.

Satrala ih je korona i skok najma u astronomske visine koji je, navodno, odredila bivša pročelnica Maja Đerek. Valjda po “elitnoj” lokaciji.
Jer “Zanat” jest tridesetak metara od Peristila i carska je zona, ali osim toga nikakve druge ekskluzive nije moglo biti: ne da nema štekata ni mjesta za vanjske stolove, nego ga jedva i pronađeš, a u 150 kvadrata samo je jedna jedina ponistrica!
Turisti bi padali u nesvijest
- Osim pet godina pauze, od 2000. do 2005., cijelo vrijeme smo vodili “Zanat” i mislim da je to stvarno bilo originalno mjesto u gradu.
Osim šta smo bili jedini klub bez muzike, imali smo i najjeftiniju cugu, kvizove, ali i koncertiće, a atmosfera je privlačila jedan posebni sloj mladih i manje mladih ljudi koji su uživali u ćakulama i druženju.

Svratili bi i turisti, pa bi padali u nesvist di su došli, pun je internet njihovih dojmova, nisu se mogli načuditi neobičnom šarmu “Zanata” i njegovih gostiju. Do korone sve smo svoje obaveze prema Gradu podmirivali uredno, ni najam nije bio previsok, 500, 600 eura.

A onda je došla karantena, sve je zatvoreno, mi nismo imali štekat, lagano smo se gasili. Ali nismo mislili odustati. No, nakon korone istekao nam je ugovor i došao je novi najam od 11,9 tisuća eura. Nitko nas nije povirio, došao pogledati o kakvom je prostoru riječ, i stavili smo ključ u bravu, pokupili uspomene sa zidova i to je bilo to.
Jasno je da toliki najam ne možemo plaćati, nismo klub na Rivi nego u zavučenoj uličici...
Nema više “Zanata”, a čini mi se da baš falimo Splitu koji ima studentarije više nego ikad i sigurno ih ima dovoljno kojima bi odgovarale povoljne cijene i mjesto za ugodne razgovore, bez tipkanja po mobitelu i zaglušujuće glazbe – kaže Ivica s kojim se prisjećamo onog otkačenog interijera: spoja dizajna pedesetih godina XX. stoljeća, Hajdukovih dresova po zidovima, plakata izložbe “Face s Pjace”, starih fotografija... Nema više.

Već neko vrijeme, a od Nove godine i definitivno, zatvoreno je još jedno kultno mjesto gdje su se u središtu Splita okupljali filozofi – studentarija, sportaši i penšjunati – Klub zanatlija u Krešimirovoj ulici.
Poznat je “Zanat” bio kao jedan od rijetkih klubova na svijetu u kojem se nije puštala glazba – kako bi gosti mogli u miru voditi misaone rasprave.

Piće je bilo jeftino, ispod svake cijene, moglo se zaigrati na jedinstvene “balote na biljaru”, takozvane boccine, na karte, šah, ali iznad svega bilo je poznato po magičnoj atmosferi kakva u današnjem “prešminkanom” Splitu više ne postoji.
Prostorije Udruge Zanatlija u zabitoj uličici su od pamtivijeka, za Drugog svjetskog rata zvao se “Moulin Rouge”, u kojem su se održavali plesnjaci, nakon rata vodila ga je popularna teta Roža i tada je bilo i spize, a potom Bafa, a 1992. u popularno zimsko okupljalište mladih pretvorio ga je ugostitelj Branko Vranković, čiji je sin Ivica preuzeo posao.

Satrala ih je korona i skok najma u astronomske visine koji je, navodno, odredila bivša pročelnica Maja Đerek. Valjda po “elitnoj” lokaciji.
Jer “Zanat” jest tridesetak metara od Peristila i carska je zona, ali osim toga nikakve druge ekskluzive nije moglo biti: ne da nema štekata ni mjesta za vanjske stolove, nego ga jedva i pronađeš, a u 150 kvadrata samo je jedna jedina ponistrica!
Turisti bi padali u nesvijest
- Osim pet godina pauze, od 2000. do 2005., cijelo vrijeme smo vodili “Zanat” i mislim da je to stvarno bilo originalno mjesto u gradu.
Osim šta smo bili jedini klub bez muzike, imali smo i najjeftiniju cugu, kvizove, ali i koncertiće, a atmosfera je privlačila jedan posebni sloj mladih i manje mladih ljudi koji su uživali u ćakulama i druženju.

Svratili bi i turisti, pa bi padali u nesvist di su došli, pun je internet njihovih dojmova, nisu se mogli načuditi neobičnom šarmu “Zanata” i njegovih gostiju. Do korone sve smo svoje obaveze prema Gradu podmirivali uredno, ni najam nije bio previsok, 500, 600 eura.

A onda je došla karantena, sve je zatvoreno, mi nismo imali štekat, lagano smo se gasili. Ali nismo mislili odustati. No, nakon korone istekao nam je ugovor i došao je novi najam od 11,9 tisuća eura. Nitko nas nije povirio, došao pogledati o kakvom je prostoru riječ, i stavili smo ključ u bravu, pokupili uspomene sa zidova i to je bilo to.
Jasno je da toliki najam ne možemo plaćati, nismo klub na Rivi nego u zavučenoj uličici...
Nema više “Zanata”, a čini mi se da baš falimo Splitu koji ima studentarije više nego ikad i sigurno ih ima dovoljno kojima bi odgovarale povoljne cijene i mjesto za ugodne razgovore, bez tipkanja po mobitelu i zaglušujuće glazbe – kaže Ivica s kojim se prisjećamo onog otkačenog interijera: spoja dizajna pedesetih godina XX. stoljeća, Hajdukovih dresova po zidovima, plakata izložbe “Face s Pjace”, starih fotografija... Nema više.
