U Klinici za infektivne bolesti "dr. Fran Mihaljević" izolirali su virus COVID-19, odnosno uzgojili ga u laboratorijskim uvjetima, javlja RTL, a prenosi Jutarnji list. Navode da je to prvi korak za cjepivo, a našim stručnjacima vjetar u leđa za daljnja znanstvena istraživanja.

- Uzgojili smo virus u laboratorijskim uvjetima iz brisa pacijenta koji je bio pozitivan na SARS-CoV-2, kazala je biologinja u Klinici Željka Mačak Šafranko. 

- Kao prvo je tu neka stvar da se cijeli virusni genom sekvencionira, da se vidi kakav je slijed nukleotida, da se vide razlike prema nekim drugim sojevima, da se napravi neka generalna karakteristika. Kako raste u kulturi, brže, sporije, kako jako se umnožava..., objasnio je Ivan Christian Kurolt, biolog u Klinici za infektivne bolesti "Dr. Fran Mihaljević"

Mačak Šafranko dobro se sjeća dana kad su virus izolirali.

- Bili smo u totalnom kaosu. Radili smo cijeli tjedan od jutra do mraka. Totalni kaos, hrpa uzoraka za testiranje... Međutim, znanstvena znatiželja je tu nekako prevladala da sam ja uspjela otići u taj laboratorij, staviti taj bris na stanice. Nakon pet dana sam došla i vidjela da ima virusa. To smo kasnije molekularnim metodama i potvrdili. Osjećala sam se ponosno i sretno. Nisam mislila da će to ići baš tako lako, objasnila je.

Izolirani virus poslali su u Njemačku i to dan nakon potresa koji je pogodio Zagreb. Ured im je bio potpuno uništen.

- To da smo dobili izolat iz Hrvatske. Nama je to bilo jako važno jer jednom kad ustanovimo da jedna tvar može djelovati protiv virusa, mi moramo dokazati da ta tvar ne djeluje samo protiv lokalnih virusa, nego da je šire primjenjiva, rekao je voditelj tima pri Helmholtz centru za infektivna istraživanja u Njemačkoj Luka Čičin-Šain.

Uz hrvatski izolat imaju njemački, austrijski, sa sjevera Italije i uskoro iz SAD-a.

- Do cjepiva treba sigurno godina dana, možda i više, ali nisu stvari tako crne kako se čini na prvi pogled. Prije nego budemo imali neko efikasno cjepivo, vrlo je vjerojatno da ćemo imati mogućnost liječenja ovoga virusa, kaže Čičin-Šain za RTL.

U Klinici za infektivne bolesti "dr. Fran Mihaljević" izolirali su virus COVID-19, odnosno uzgojili ga u laboratorijskim uvjetima, javlja RTL, a prenosi Jutarnji list. Navode da je to prvi korak za cjepivo, a našim stručnjacima vjetar u leđa za daljnja znanstvena istraživanja.

- Uzgojili smo virus u laboratorijskim uvjetima iz brisa pacijenta koji je bio pozitivan na SARS-CoV-2, kazala je biologinja u Klinici Željka Mačak Šafranko. 

- Kao prvo je tu neka stvar da se cijeli virusni genom sekvencionira, da se vidi kakav je slijed nukleotida, da se vide razlike prema nekim drugim sojevima, da se napravi neka generalna karakteristika. Kako raste u kulturi, brže, sporije, kako jako se umnožava..., objasnio je Ivan Christian Kurolt, biolog u Klinici za infektivne bolesti "Dr. Fran Mihaljević"

Mačak Šafranko dobro se sjeća dana kad su virus izolirali.

- Bili smo u totalnom kaosu. Radili smo cijeli tjedan od jutra do mraka. Totalni kaos, hrpa uzoraka za testiranje... Međutim, znanstvena znatiželja je tu nekako prevladala da sam ja uspjela otići u taj laboratorij, staviti taj bris na stanice. Nakon pet dana sam došla i vidjela da ima virusa. To smo kasnije molekularnim metodama i potvrdili. Osjećala sam se ponosno i sretno. Nisam mislila da će to ići baš tako lako, objasnila je.

Izolirani virus poslali su u Njemačku i to dan nakon potresa koji je pogodio Zagreb. Ured im je bio potpuno uništen.

- To da smo dobili izolat iz Hrvatske. Nama je to bilo jako važno jer jednom kad ustanovimo da jedna tvar može djelovati protiv virusa, mi moramo dokazati da ta tvar ne djeluje samo protiv lokalnih virusa, nego da je šire primjenjiva, rekao je voditelj tima pri Helmholtz centru za infektivna istraživanja u Njemačkoj Luka Čičin-Šain.

Uz hrvatski izolat imaju njemački, austrijski, sa sjevera Italije i uskoro iz SAD-a.

- Do cjepiva treba sigurno godina dana, možda i više, ali nisu stvari tako crne kako se čini na prvi pogled. Prije nego budemo imali neko efikasno cjepivo, vrlo je vjerojatno da ćemo imati mogućnost liječenja ovoga virusa, kaže Čičin-Šain za RTL.

U Klinici za infektivne bolesti "dr. Fran Mihaljević" izolirali su virus COVID-19, odnosno uzgojili ga u laboratorijskim uvjetima, javlja RTL, a prenosi Jutarnji list. Navode da je to prvi korak za cjepivo, a našim stručnjacima vjetar u leđa za daljnja znanstvena istraživanja.

- Uzgojili smo virus u laboratorijskim uvjetima iz brisa pacijenta koji je bio pozitivan na SARS-CoV-2, kazala je biologinja u Klinici Željka Mačak Šafranko. 

- Kao prvo je tu neka stvar da se cijeli virusni genom sekvencionira, da se vidi kakav je slijed nukleotida, da se vide razlike prema nekim drugim sojevima, da se napravi neka generalna karakteristika.
