Liječnici su na suđenju zbog ubojstva Georgea Floyda anatomskim dijagramima pokušali dokazati da je on umro zbog pritiskanja policije na pod, a ne zbog predoziranja fentanilom.
Liječnik Martin Tobin s odjela za intenzivnu skrb čikaške bolnice rekao je poroti da je Floyd umro „zbog premale količine kisika“ pritisnut licem na tlo koljenom policajca na vratu. Snimka Floydovih posljednjih trenutaka prošli je svibanj pokrenula globalne prosvjede protiv rasne nejednakosti i policijske brutalnosti.
Porotnici su prema Tobinovim uputama dodirivali dijelove svojih vratova, dobivajući anatomske lekcije liječnika.
Bilo koja „zdrava osoba“ izgubila bi život u takvim uvjetima, rekao je Tobin, slažući se sa zaključcima lokalnog medicinskog stručnjaka da je Floydova smrt posljedica policijskog postupanja.
Doktor Isenschim rekao je kako je toksikološkim testovima u Floydovoj krvi pronašao fentanil, no u razini pronađenoj u uzorcima uzetih od ljudi koji su pritvoreni zbog vožnje pod utjecajem narkotika.
Forenzički patolog William Smock poroti je kazao da je Floyd umro od „pozicijske asfiksije“ zbog pritiskanja policije, „odnosno jer nije imao više kisika u svom tijelu“.
Videosnimka Floydove smrti pokazuje bijelca Dereka Chauvina kako ga drži pritisnutog na podu koljenom duže od devet minuta dok taj 46-godišnji crnac ponavlja kako „ne može disati“.
Chauvin se ne smatra krivim za ubojstvo.
Sva tri liječnika koje su pozvali tužitelji ukazali su na različite trenutke videosnimke koji potkopavaju Chauvinovu obranu.
Tobin je rekao poroti da prati Floydove udisaje na snimci, naglasivši kako se njihov broj ne smanjuje dok ne padne u nesvijest.
Predoziranje fentanilom, s druge strane, obilježeno je brzim disanjem, rekao je liječnik.
Idući tjedan se očekuje svjedočenje liječnika koje je pozvao Eric Nelson, Chauvinov odvjetnik.

Liječnici su na suđenju zbog ubojstva Georgea Floyda anatomskim dijagramima pokušali dokazati da je on umro zbog pritiskanja policije na pod, a ne zbog predoziranja fentanilom.
Liječnik Martin Tobin s odjela za intenzivnu skrb čikaške bolnice rekao je poroti da je Floyd umro „zbog premale količine kisika“ pritisnut licem na tlo koljenom policajca na vratu. Snimka Floydovih posljednjih trenutaka prošli je svibanj pokrenula globalne prosvjede protiv rasne nejednakosti i policijske brutalnosti.
Porotnici su prema Tobinovim uputama dodirivali dijelove svojih vratova, dobivajući anatomske lekcije liječnika.
Bilo koja „zdrava osoba“ izgubila bi život u takvim uvjetima, rekao je Tobin, slažući se sa zaključcima lokalnog medicinskog stručnjaka da je Floydova smrt posljedica policijskog postupanja.
Doktor Isenschim rekao je kako je toksikološkim testovima u Floydovoj krvi pronašao fentanil, no u razini pronađenoj u uzorcima uzetih od ljudi koji su pritvoreni zbog vožnje pod utjecajem narkotika.
Forenzički patolog William Smock poroti je kazao da je Floyd umro od „pozicijske asfiksije“ zbog pritiskanja policije, „odnosno jer nije imao više kisika u svom tijelu“.
Videosnimka Floydove smrti pokazuje bijelca Dereka Chauvina kako ga drži pritisnutog na podu koljenom duže od devet minuta dok taj 46-godišnji crnac ponavlja kako „ne može disati“.
Chauvin se ne smatra krivim za ubojstvo.
Sva tri liječnika koje su pozvali tužitelji ukazali su na različite trenutke videosnimke koji potkopavaju Chauvinovu obranu.
Tobin je rekao poroti da prati Floydove udisaje na snimci, naglasivši kako se njihov broj ne smanjuje dok ne padne u nesvijest.
Predoziranje fentanilom, s druge strane, obilježeno je brzim disanjem, rekao je liječnik.
Idući tjedan se očekuje svjedočenje liječnika koje je pozvao Eric Nelson, Chauvinov odvjetnik.
