Žena na Novom Zelandu preminula je nakon cijepljenja Pfizerom, javlja BBC, navodeći da je ovo prva sumnja na smrt povezanu s cjepivom Pfizer u toj državi.

Neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva izjavio je kako je smrt žene nastupila “vjerojatno” zbog miokarditisa ili upale srčanog mišića, prenosi N1.

Također se navode da su postojala i druga zdravstvena pitanja koja su mogla “utjecati na ishod nakon cijepljenja”.

Europski regulatori navode da je miokarditis vrlo rijetka nuspojava nakon cijepljenja te da koristi cjepiva nadmašuju rizik. Službeni uzrok smrti još uvijek nije određen. No, neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva navodi da je miokarditis vjerojatno uzrokovan cijepljenjem.

“Ovo je prvi slučaj na Novom Zelandu gdje je smrt nakon cijepljenja povezana s cjepivom Pfizer”, navodi se u priopćenju.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) navela je miokarditis kao moguću rijetku nuspojavu cjepiva Pfizer i Moderna, navodeći da su nuspojave češće u mlađih muškaraca.

U Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu prijavljeno je 195 slučajeva miokarditisa nakon cijepljenja Pfizerom po stopi od oko pet slučajeva na milijun. U većini slučajeva radilo se samo o blagim simptomima. EMA je preporučila da se cjepivo i dalje nastavi koristiti.

Simptomi miokarditisa mogu uključivati novu, iznenadnu bol u prsima, nedostatak zraka i nepravilne otkucaje srca. Stručnjaci savjetuju da osobe koje primijete takve simptome u danima nakon cijepljenja zatraže liječničku pomoć.

Žena na Novom Zelandu preminula je nakon cijepljenja Pfizerom, javlja BBC, navodeći da je ovo prva sumnja na smrt povezanu s cjepivom Pfizer u toj državi.

Neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva izjavio je kako je smrt žene nastupila “vjerojatno” zbog miokarditisa ili upale srčanog mišića, prenosi N1.

Također se navode da su postojala i druga zdravstvena pitanja koja su mogla “utjecati na ishod nakon cijepljenja”.

Europski regulatori navode da je miokarditis vrlo rijetka nuspojava nakon cijepljenja te da koristi cjepiva nadmašuju rizik. Službeni uzrok smrti još uvijek nije određen. No, neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva navodi da je miokarditis vjerojatno uzrokovan cijepljenjem.

“Ovo je prvi slučaj na Novom Zelandu gdje je smrt nakon cijepljenja povezana s cjepivom Pfizer”, navodi se u priopćenju.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) navela je miokarditis kao moguću rijetku nuspojavu cjepiva Pfizer i Moderna, navodeći da su nuspojave češće u mlađih muškaraca.

U Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu prijavljeno je 195 slučajeva miokarditisa nakon cijepljenja Pfizerom po stopi od oko pet slučajeva na milijun. U većini slučajeva radilo se samo o blagim simptomima. EMA je preporučila da se cjepivo i dalje nastavi koristiti.

Simptomi miokarditisa mogu uključivati novu, iznenadnu bol u prsima, nedostatak zraka i nepravilne otkucaje srca. Stručnjaci savjetuju da osobe koje primijete takve simptome u danima nakon cijepljenja zatraže liječničku pomoć.

Žena na Novom Zelandu preminula je nakon cijepljenja Pfizerom, javlja BBC, navodeći da je ovo prva sumnja na smrt povezanu s cjepivom Pfizer u toj državi.

Neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva izjavio je kako je smrt žene nastupila “vjerojatno” zbog miokarditisa ili upale srčanog mišića, prenosi N1.

Također se navode da su postojala i druga zdravstvena pitanja koja su mogla “utjecati na ishod nakon cijepljenja”.

Europski regulatori navode da je miokarditis vrlo rijetka nuspojava nakon cijepljenja te da koristi cjepiva nadmašuju rizik. Službeni uzrok smrti još uvijek nije određen. No, neovisni odbor za praćenje sigurnosti cjepiva navodi da je miokarditis vjerojatno uzrokovan cijepljenjem.
